Nicholas, what about to move this code repository to Github, to foster contributions and, maybe, attract somebody interested in reactivate this project?
This can be done here on Sourceforge, but there is no doubt that Github has much more visibility and tools for contributions these days...

There are already some repos on Github based on your code, but on https://github.com/new/import there is a better import tool which gets all repo history, which none of the others seemed to have used...
