#290 Advmame 3.9 not saving config
hello, i have been successful in building and running advmame on the upcoming odroid go super handheld Ubuntu image. Games and everything works but with one bug, once i configure the joystick it only works until i exit. After relaunch, the config goes back to default. ive tried sdl and digital. i dont see the changes being written to advmame.rc or the corresponding system.rc (example megaduck or astrocade).
what can i do yo solve this issue? i spent a few hours in the docs and googling, but so far nothing has helped. the . advance and advmame folders have 777 permissions so theye not the problem, i tried disabling multi core as well.
I solved it but I am not sure if its still a bug, if I chmod the .advance folder it wont save the config anymore, even if I give it higher permissions, I can not touch .advance besides to add .rc files
at the top of the advmame.rc , value config restore_on_exit instead of save_on_exit. But your right it does restore default settings on save_on_exit and is bugged.
