Abstract is a free software, which can work on a non-free operating system. OS vendor doesn't allow us to redistributes trivial libraries and requires you to download and install them. Please download Microsoft VC CRT from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=200B2FD9-AE1A-4A14-984D-389C36F85647 and run 'vcredist_x86.exe', if you haven't already and want to use/try abstract.
Windows Installer databases are provided as an installation facility.
