We were probably hit by spider runs on mozilla.org (part of Firefox 3 testing). Everything was back after a simple activity-based blocking rule was established.

Service will be restored, after we move content to slower, but free SF servers.

Abstract is a free software, which can work on a non-free operating system. OS vendor doesn't allow us to redistributes trivial libraries and requires you to download and install them. Please download Microsoft VC CRT from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=200B2FD9-AE1A-4A14-984D-389C36F85647 and run 'vcredist_x86.exe', if you haven't already and want to use/try abstract.

Windows Installer databases are provided as an installation facility.

First alpha version of abstract accounting package is ready for download.

Abstract employs breakthrough accounting model to seamlessly provide advanced functionality. This version allows to test flow-based accounting with automatic revenue recognition.

One of the steps in releasing abstract-0.1a1 was migration to Mozilla Build System from GNU Autotools.

ERP should process huge amount of data and remain responsive. Abstract now have a concept of how to do it. The concept is not curved in stone, it is more like forged from steel.
