    FaRe

Mathematica package for tensor reduction of Feynman integrals.

Version 1.2 is now available! This version is compatible with FeynCalc 9.0 FaRe is a Mathematica package for tensor reduction of Feynman integrals. The integral can be any-rank and any-order. Dimensional reduction is used and the final output is regrouped according to tensor structures. FaRe requires FeynCalc to work. Please refer to http://arxiv.org/abs/1507.03527 for a detailed manual. If you use FaRe in a scientific publication or talk, please give proper academic credit by citing http://inspirehep.net/record/1382623 For any information please write to: m.re-fiorentin AT soton.ac.uk

    PyPES Library

Library of analytic potential energy surfaces

...The PyPES code enables the generation of energy derivatives to 6th order about any point on the potential energy surface in a range of common coordinate systems, including curvilinear internal, Cartesian and normal mode coordinates. For portability, FORTRAN, C, MATLAB and Mathematica wrappers are provided to interface with PyPES, reading in PyPES-generated Cartesian and normal mode derivative data via a text interface.

    Truncated power series algebra

    Truncated power series algebra

...They can also compute with maps, a map being an array of TPSA objects representing a mapping of a space into itself. They are implemented as arrays of TPSA objects equal in number to the number of variables of the algebra. One implementation is written in Mathematica and is rather slow. The second is written in VB.net and is much faster.

    EmulMultiFit

Simultaneously fit SAS data with polydisperse core-shell-shell spheres

Keywords: -simultaneously fit several SAXS and SANS data sets with polydisperse (Schultz-Zimm or Gaussian distribution f(R)) spherical core-shell-shell nanoparticles -analytical expressions are used for from factor F(Q) and its integral over f(R), no numerical integration required -absolute units -Mathematica is required via console (MathKernel) -Mathematica's local and global optimizers (simulated annealing, differential evolution, Nelder-Mead, ...) can be used -range for fit parameters and further constraints between fit parameters are possible -Monodisperse(!) hard sphere structure factor can be used, too -long computation times (depending on problem size and amount of constraints) from hours to a few days are possible -non-parallelized code

Maximum packing densities for individual, polydisperse (diameter), ellipitic platelets and stacks of them (max 5 platelets per stack implemented). Size fractionating for stacks (platelets with diameters below a cut-off diameter remain as individual platelets all others assemble in stacks) can be included. Considers only hard interactions and assumes spherical exclusion volumes.

    Penney Ante

    Penney Ante

It explains a phenomenon of a coin tossing game called Penney Ante

...To do so we need to be able to define relations between each two patterns. And this is where the fun begins. To run the project use PenneyAnte.nb Open .nb files using Mathematica. You can also use CDF Player but in this case .nb files will not function interactively. See wiki for a full project description.

    Coin Games

    Coin Games

It explains a phenomenon of a coin tossing game called Penney Ante

A university project explaining a phenomenon of a coin tossing game called Penney Ante. This project has been originally written in Mathematica. Parts of the original project have been later rewritten in Java as a simple frame application. Penney Ante is a coin tossing game invented in 1969 by a mathematician called Walter Penney. It is played by two players. Each player selects a pattern of three heads and tails. The two patterns must be different. The players then flip a fair coin repeatedly until one of the patterns appears. ...

    Arduino for Circadian Behavioral Assay

    Arduino for Circadian Behavioral Assay

Circadian behaviral assay software for Arduino 1.0

The Arduino routines (.ino) control light-on timing under various entrainment schemes and measures general movements using PIR and the light level using CdS in three animal chambers. Requires Arduino 1.0 and Arduino hardwares (Uno or Mega). 1. _3ChambersEPLPDD.ino: 12-12 LD to long photoperiod 2. _3ChambersTCycle.ino: 12-12 LD to T=23/T=25 cycles (Note: A critical error has been found in _3ChambersTCycle.ino. It will not be available until the error is fixed. 14-SEP-2012)
