Dia Diagram Editor is free Open Source drawing software for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Dia supports more than 30 different diagram types like flowcharts, network diagrams, database models. More than a thousand readymade objects help to draw professional diagrams. Dia can read and write a number of different raster and vector image formats. Software developers and database specialists can use Dia as a CASE tool to generate code skeletons from their drawings. Dia can be scripted and extended using Python.

XTrackCAD is a open-source, free, CAD program for designing model railroad layouts. You can easily create layout of any scale or size. Libraries for many brands, scales and gauges of track and turnouts/points and model structures are included. Adding new components is easy with the built-in editor. darktable is an open source photography workflow application and non-destructive raw developer. A virtual lighttable and darkroom for photographers. It manages your digital negatives in a database, lets you view them through a zoomable lighttable and enables you to develop raw images, enhance them and export them on local or remote storage.

Sodipodi is general vector illustrating application for Linux/Unix and Windows. It uses W3C SVG as native file and in-memory image format and can do many neat things.

Tgif is a vector-based 2D drawing tool. It's also a hyper-structured-graphics browser on the web.

Box is a language specifically designed to make vector graphics easy plus a integrated development environment which facilitates the use of the language by interactively showing the graphical output. Box combines the convenience of drawing figures with the mouse with the convenience of describing them with a language tailored for vector graphics.

Skencil is a vector drawing program. It's written almost completely in python for flexibilty with some modules written in C for speed.

ImageStone is a powerful C++ class library for image manipulation. Its features include load, save, display, transformation, and nearly 100 special image effects. It can be used cross platform (includes Windows, Linux, Mac), and especially under windows it can be used as a DIB wrapper class.

The aim of this project is to export the xfigure library (.xfig) to provide free stencils/shapes for kivio (.sml) and OpenOffice.org/StarOffice (.sxd,.wmf). The images (over 900) can be used in the OpenOffice.org`s Gallery.

ZuneFIG is the revival of AmiFIG vector drawing program for AROS. Previous version (AmiFIG) has been compiled for AmigaOS4 and is available on OS4depot. A very outdated build of AmiFIG for MorphOS can be found on aminet.

Agar provides a base GUI framework and a standard set of widgets from which graphical applications can be built which run natively under X11, Windows, MacOS, SDL and others. It takes advantage of texture and GPU acceleration wherever available. Agar can also attach to an existing framebuffer, SDL or OpenGL context and operate as a self-contained window-manager. It includes a standard library of general-purpose widgets, and is also designed to be extended externally. New widgets can be implemented as part of an application or library. Complex user interface elements can be realized often in few lines of code. Agar is also extensible at the low-level. The low-level API is documented such that modular drivers can be written which enable Agar applications to work seamlessly under many platforms graphics systems without any change at the application level.

AniToolBox aims to be an Open Source and Free Computer Aided Animation program suite. Since the project is still in its initial planning phase, suggestions are very welcome.
