WMI Lab is a lightweight, open source application based on the .Net Framework 3.5 that expands on functions offered in common WMI tools to allow for the inspection, querying, deeper interrogation and code generation of WMI classes on local or remote Windows systems.

This application will automate the task of creating a user account in MS Windows 2003 server using LDAP to interact with Active Directory. User defined values will be stored in an xml config file for easy modification.

This HTA started out as a means to list all the groups - including nested groups - to which users in a client's AD belonged. From that, it grew into what I hope is a one-stop shop for some of the more common tasks in AD, such as finding out when a bunch of users last logged on, what their home directories are and so on. The function I use most often is the one to clone a user account. The script uses the 'overLib' scripts to display tooltips. This is included in the ZIP. MMOAP is the result of many MANY years spent in numerous IT environments and not having enough information on hand to make rational decisions. MMOAP is essentially a data gathering tool, specifically geared towards DBA's who need to interrogate SQL servers, and then store the results in a central repository, and then raises alerts on conditions of interest. MMOAP is like many commercial tools (SCOM, Idera, Spotlight, etc.) except MUCH simpler, and also like many homegrown solutions except much more robust. Once MMOAP is setup, you never have to modify the dtsx package. Commands and Alerts are dynamic, driven by SQL that is stored in tables that you can change any time.
