Automated network based hard disk drives / storage devices erasure is server based software which installs on a central server. Server is connected to network switches and several PXE boot enabled workstations are attached to the network. As soon as the workstation is powered on, it boots off the network via the server and begins wiping all the attached hard disk drives. Once all the hard drives are wiped, data related to each hard disk is stored in the central server’s database. The goal of the project is the realization of a modular firmware that allows to control a CNC machine with different utensils. For instance, a CNC with a drill, with few changes can become a plotter with a pen or cutting machine to cut cardboard or stickers. With RPE the admin is able to view all the running processes on a client and of course kill them. RPE shows also the services and their state and start type, you are able to directly get to the c$ share or open a remote commandshell (winrs) and connect to the client via RDP. But that's not all, RPE will show errors and warnings of the past 30 days out of the application eventlog and the system eventlog. Pre-configured images of my Raspberry Pi operating systems, used for backup essentially, if they help anyone else, good ! These files just need flashing to the appropiately sized SD card and then booting in your Pi, no install needed. You will need to use the dd command if the SD card is the same size as the image, if larger you can flash the SD card with "Startup Disk Creator" or similar. You should be able to login with root/root and in most Raspbian releases pi/raspberry for username/password and then change the passwords for security as well as creating any new users if you plan on using them. Notes specific to each OS will be listed in the relevant README files. -
