Named Binary Tag (NBT) is a binary format designed for and used by the game Minecraft to store various data including worlds, player data and many other things. This project provides a way to access those data by simply mounting the corresponding data file as a file system, then reading and writing any value as usual file system nodes. By combining with standard Unix file operation tools, batch editing or copying massive amount of data is very easy, comparing to other generic NBT editing tools. The file system (NBTFS) implementation (mount.nbt(8)) is based on FUSE. NBT parser and writer are originally written by Lukas Niederbremer as cNBT project which this project is based on.

RainforestCluster is an Amazon EC2 python program that manages and load-balances dynamic clusters to allow for maximum workflow flexibility and speed at minimal cost. It enables one to quickly and cheaply create dynamic compute clusters in the cloud, which can then run computational pipelines generically. It is also able to optimize the use of spot instances - idle computers in Amazon's cloud that are available at drastically reduced cost (5x-10x cheaper) - but can be terminated at any moment if capacity drops or the bid price rises. It also provides pre-installed features such as GlusterFS distributed filesystems, ThunderstormDistributor queuing system, RAID 0 /scratch, password-less ssh, and automatic cluster management, for ease of use and maximum processing speed for computational tools. UniSIMD assembler is a high-level C/C++ macro assembler framework unified across ARM, MIPS, POWER and x86 architectures. It establishes a subset of both BASE and SIMD instruction sets with clearly defined common API, so that application logic can be written and maintained in one place without code replication. The assembler itself isn't a separate tool, but rather a collection of C/C++ header files, which applications need to include directly in order to use. At present, Intel SSE/SSE2/SSE4 and AVX/AVX2/AVX-512 (32/64-bit x86 ISAs), ARMv7 NEON/NEONv2, ARMv8 AArch32 and AArch64 NEON, SVE (32/64-bit ARM ISAs), MIPS 32/64-bit r5/r6 MSA and POWER 32/64-bit VMX/VSX (little/big-endian ISAs) are mostly implemented (/w horizontal reductions) although scalar improvements, wider SIMD vectors with zeroing/merging predicates in 3/4-operand instructions are planned as extensions to current 2/3-operand SPMD-driven vertical SIMD ISA.
