ApplPi is a stochastic noise machine that creates a soothing background noise for those who can't work in complete silence or need to mask distracting noise. It creates sound similar to any noise machine, but it's more musical and harmonic. Additionally, you can control the frequency (note) of the sound and choose from built-in presets of noise/sound.

AudiOpen is a framework and GUI for audio synthesis, with the goal of developing an environment where obtaining the waveform you want is very intuitive by taking a very systematic/mathematical approach to defining audio and supporting Python scripts.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) evolves musical instruments you play with the mouse from small blocks of Java code that operate on numbers, each block designed to keep all numbers in range -1 to 1 if they started in that range, and combinations of these evolved codes running 44100 times per second for high quality 44.1 khz audio. Cotovía is a unit-selection text-to-speech system for Galician and Spanish. Cotovía is distributed under the GPL3.0+ license, but each of the avaliable speaker voices has its own license. Cotovia has been developed by the University de Vigo and the center 'Ramón Piñeiro' for Research in Humanities, both in Galicia, Spain.
