Polyphonic synthesizer LV2 plugin
Triceratops is an analogue style polyphonic subtractive synthesizer plugin, for use with the LV2 plug architecture, at this time there is no standalone version. An up to date version of the LV2 library is required along with a suitable host (e.g. Qtractor, Jalv, Ardour), I highly recommend either the KXstudio distro or the KXstudio ubuntu repositories! The intention is for this synth to be part of a suite including a drum machine (Stegosaurus) and a wavetable synth (Dracorex), watch this space. -

DubEdit
Audio Video media editor for complex composition
DubEdit allows to edit the Video and the Audio channels of a media though the combination of layers that can be sources (video, picture, parametric shape, audio track, etc...), filters (resize, contrast, transparency, amplify, etc...) and mixers. All filters can be adjusted using parameters that may vary with the time in the media, either based on automatic curves between key frames or driven by formulas like in a spreadsheet. Ergonomic interface (including performance) is an important driver in designing DubEdit: every operation is undoable, all video editing is WYSIWYG. At this time DubEdit has only basic filters and mixers. But it has been designed to be easily extended with new powerful filters and mixers so that it can becomes capable of virtually any possible editing. Shuffle Sync is a very simple program which allows you to copy random files of a specific type (usually music or video files) to a target path or drive. ***Please do be careful with the "Delete all files" option and the target drive/path.*** Upon clicking on the "Shuffle Sync" button, the application will check and warn for the following: - if drive is a FIXED drive (usually hard drives) - if drive has a total capacity of more than 64GB - if the "delete all files" checkbox is marked If the user approves of all warnings, the application will proceed to sync files from the source to the destination (deleting all files in the destination folder if the "delete all files" checkbox is marked). This application *probably* requires the .NET Framework 4.5.2 (get it here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42642. This application is a study project: this is my first C# application. Help and feedback would be appreciated. -

The Secret of NIM
An easy way to remerber NIM logic
The Secret of NIM is a software writen in PHP/MySQL and JavaScript. It shows a graphical representation of a logic scheme with wires connecting logic modules which have specific parameters. This software has been developped for NIM/TTL logic, thus his simplicity allows also the representation of other logic systems, numeric systems or analogic systems i.e. the pedal board of an electric guitar. The Secret of NIM is divided in two parts. The first one is the main part of the software. It edit different project, connect modules with wires and edit the parameters of those modules. The other part of the sofware is an utility. It edits the modules which will be used for the projects or create them if they aren't in the database yet. The Secret of NIM is a all-in-one software, easy to use and very helpful for saving the wiring of an experiment. But it can't do the logic itseft, it allows only a visualisation of the logic. -

A simple Bash script using wget to download every song from Dogmazic
Dogmazic.net is a French libre music website, run by a volunteer organisation. It currently provides open-licensed music in ogg and/or mp3 format, for streaming and free download. This software is a simple bash script that, once run, will start to download every song available from Dogmazic in the specified format, default being mp3. When the script is running, it is looping endlessly and keeps on downloading new songs that are registered on Dogmazic. Currently there's more than 50 000 tracks available. The script can be interrupted at any time, and when re-launched later, will resume the downloads at the point there were. To use it, you have to know how to launch a bash script from command line, and how to interrupt a command-line job. Please note that this script was created to be used with the version 2 of the Dogmazic website. Version 3 is currently being developed and the script will have to be modified once this third version is online. -
