Podget is a simple podcast aggregator optimized for running as a scheduled background job (i.e. cron), with support for categories & folders, importing servers from OPML lists & iTunes PCAST files, exporting an OPML file, automatic playlist creation and cleanup. Updated in Version 0.8 on June5, 2016 to include support for ATOM feeds in additions to RSS feeds. As of Nov 9, 2015 the CVS hosted by Sourceforge will no longer be updated. The last version to be uploaded into the CVS was version 0.7.9. I've moved the development files to Git and they are accessible at: https://github.com/dvehrs/podget I will continue to post release versions here so feel free to download them! -

Give the chord progression and a style and JChordBox generates a song. JChordBox is a library tool that can generate backing tracks from a chord progression and a music style. A music Style is describe using an XML and a MIDI file. You can generate an XML Style file from a MIDI file by adding markers to delimit grooves. An XML Song file describes a chord progression and sets the music style to use. JChordBox comes with several command line tools (GenerateSong, CreateStyleFromMidiFile, SongPlayer …). NEW:The application center is called SongPlayer and is a text based user interface that can play JChordBox song. SongPlayer is a MIDI Player that can loop a song, mute or soloing tracks and displays transport informations. SongPlayer is now the default jar application. NEW:Examples have been added to the distribution package. -

This Java Modplayer playes *.mod, *.xm, *.s3m, *.stm, *.wow, *.it (all with interpolation), MP3s, *.sid, *.ogg, *.flac, *.ape, WAV, MIDI, RMI, AU, AIFF. It also supports playlists like PLS, M3U and cue-sheets. Since Version 2.8 support for OPL2/OPL3 emulation was added to play AdLib ROL-Files, LAA, CMF, DRO and SCI files. To start the player you may just double click the jar or use: java -jar ./javamod.jar or (for just commandline) java -cp ./javamod.jar de.quippy.javamod.main.CommandLine. This player can be run als a console application, with its swing gui. The formal applet support is gone. Applets are not supported in most browsers anymore. -
