This repo contains the DirectX 12 Graphics samples that demonstrate how to build graphics-intensive applications for Windows 10. In the Samples directory, you will find samples that attempt to break off specific features and specific usage scenarios into bite-sized chunks. For example, the ExecuteIndirect sample will show you just enough about execute indirect to get started with that feature without diving too deep into multiengine whereas the nBodyGravity sample will delve into multiengine without touching on the execute indirect feature etc. By doing this, we hope to make it easier to get started with DirectX 12. D3D12 Mesh Shaders sample demonstrates how Mesh shaders can be used to increase the flexibility and performance of the geometry pipeline. D3D12 Variable Rate Shading sample demonstrates how shading rate can be reduced with little or no reduction in visual quality, leading to “free” performance. -

OpenVR is an API and runtime that allows access to VR hardware from multiple vendors without requiring that applications have specific knowledge of the hardware they are targeting. This repository is an SDK that contains the API and samples. The runtime is under SteamVR in Tools on Steam. The OpenVR API provides a game with a way to interact with Virtual Reality displays without relying on a specific hardware vendor's SDK. It can be updated independently of the game to add support for new hardware or software updates. This means that you can access the position of the headset using only one API call and it works for all headset brands (Oculus, Mixed Reality, Vive, etc)! The API is implemented as a set of C++ interface classes full of pure virtual functions. When an application initializes the system it will return the interface that matches the header in the SDK used by that application. -

The decompiler is not limited to any particular target architecture, operating system, or executable file format. ELF, PE, Mach-O, COFF, AR (archive), Intel HEX, and raw machine code supported. 32-bit: Intel x86, ARM, MIPS, PIC32, and PowerPC 64-bit: x86-64 supported. Demangling of symbols from C++ binaries (GCC, MSVC, Borland). Reconstruction of functions, types, and high-level constructs. Output in two high-level languages: C and a Python-like language. Generation of call graphs, control-flow graphs, and various statistics. Detection and reconstruction of C++ class hierarchies (RTTI, vtables). ImHex is a Hex Editor, a tool to display, decode and analyze binary data to reverse engineer their format, extract informations or patch values in them. It is designed to be backward compatible with Lua 5.1, as well as incorporating some features from future Lua releases, but also expands the feature set (most notably with type annotations). Luau is largely implemented from scratch, with the language runtime being a very heavily modified version of Lua 5.1 runtime, with a completely rewritten interpreter and other performance innovations. The runtime mostly preserves Lua 5.1 API, so existing bindings should be more or less compatible with a few caveats. Luau is used by Roblox game developers to write game code, as well as by Roblox engineers to implement large parts of the user-facing application code as well as portions of the editor (Roblox Studio) as plugins. Roblox chose to open-source Luau to foster collaboration within the Roblox community as well as to allow other companies and communities to benefit from the ongoing language and runtime innovation. As a consequence, Luau is now also used by games like Alan Wake 2 and Warframe. -

LevelDB
A fast key-value storage library
LevelDB is a library of persistent key values. Written at Google, it contains keys and values that are arbitrary byte arrays, ordered within the key value store according to a user-specified comparator function. LevelDB is not an SQL database and does not support SQL queries or indexes. It simply provides an ordered mapping from string keys to string values. Data is stored already sorted by key, though callers can override the sort order through a custom comparison function. It supports forward and backward iteration as well as transient snapshots, and automatically compresses data via the Snappy compression library.
