Open Source Android Real Time Tactical Games

Erebus is a 2D real-time role-playing game, for Windows, Linux, Symbian and Android. This is under development, though already playable with three quests. Classic point-n-click style RPG, with dungeons to explore, enemies to fight, NPCs to talk to, sub-quests to complete, scenery to interact with, weapons, treasure and other items to find. Also supports Rogue-like keyboard controls. Binaries available for Windows and Android. Linux must be compiled from source. Older versions are available for Symbian. I am also developing the underlying game engine so that it can potentially be used to create new RPGs.

d13 is a free browser game engine that allows you to build your own multiplayer online strategy game. suited for tick based empire building games that follow the 4X concept: eXplore, eXpand, eXploit and eXterminate. Despite its oldschool look and feel, d13 comes as a fully OOP, MVC web-application that features a responsive design as well as great flexibility. You can easily add troops, buildings and technologies and create templates and skins for the project as well. Insurrection is a science fiction game, using your spaceship you must directly confront navies, invade using dropships, subvert colonies, and create chaos where possible. All of this being in order to bring about the dissolution of an opposing power. Gameplay consists of a top-down perspective of your ship in 2D, with the original Dungeon Master gameplay system for boarding vessels with a party of assault droids. You may customize the droids and ship, plus research weapons and new parts. Weapons may be independently targeted, and it is possible to utilize anti-munition weapons during defense. Captured ships can be added to your fleet, and other AI players may join the cause. This project is currently pre-alpha, but preliminary code can be compiled to give the test environment with currently implemented functions. The intention is to introduce each game element as, and when, the implemented module is capable of supporting it.
