LAME is an educational tool to be used for learning about MP3 encoding. The goal of the LAME project is to improve the psycho acoustics, quality and speed of MP3 encoding. Note: we provide source code only!

nsync is a portable C library that provides a collection of advanced synchronization primitives designed to facilitate safe and efficient multithreaded programming. It offers reader-writer locks, condition variables, run-once initialization, waitable counters, and waitable bits for coordination and cancellation between threads. Unlike traditional pthreads-based synchronization, nsync introduces conditional critical sections, allowing developers to wait for arbitrary conditions without explicit signaling or complex loop-based logic. This approach simplifies concurrency management and often improves readability and maintainability of multithreaded code. The library emphasizes efficiency, with locks and condition variables occupying minimal memory and supporting cancellation mechanisms through nsync_note objects rather than thread-level cancellation. Designed with portability and performance in mind, nsync can be compiled on Unix-like systems and Windows using a C90 compiler.

AttackSurfaceMapper (ASM) is a reconnaissance and attack surface discovery tool designed to automate the process of mapping potential targets within an organization's infrastructure. It combines open source intelligence (OSINT) with selective active reconnaissance techniques to expand and analyze a target’s external attack surface. Users can supply domains, subdomains, or IP addresses as input, and applies multiple discovery methods to identify additional related assets such as new subdomains, associated IP ranges, and hosts within the same network ownership. It performs both brute-force and passive enumeration techniques to uncover infrastructure components that may not be immediately visible. After building an expanded list of targets, AttackSurfaceMapper collects intelligence such as screenshots of web applications, information about exposed services, and possible vulnerabilities identified through integrated services. It can also search for publicly exposed credentials.

HelenOS is a portable microkernel-based multiserver operating system written from scratch. It decomposes key operating system functionality such as file systems, networking, device drivers and graphical user interface into a collection of fine-grained user space components that interact with each other via message passing. A failure or crash of one component does not directly harm others. HelenOS is therefore flexible, modular, extensible, fault tolerant and easy to understand. HelenOS does not aim to be a clone of any existing operating system and trades compatibility with legacy APIs for cleaner design. Most of HelenOS components have been made to order specifically for HelenOS so that its essential parts can stay free of adaptation layers, glue code, franken-components and the maintenance burden incurred by them.

pyz80 is a z80 cross-assembler written entirely in Python. It accepts text files with the syntax of the Sam Coupe's popular COMET assembler, and outputs a disk image suitable for loading in SimCoupe or transferring to floppy disk for use with a real Sam.
