LPrint implements printing for a variety of common label and receipt printers connected via network or USB. Features include a single executable handles spooling, status, and server functionality. CUPS is the widely used printing system for UNIX-like operating systems that presents a modern, network-centric print stack built around IPP. The project’s reference implementation is battle-tested across desktops, servers, and embedded systems that expose print services to a network.

This program translates DVI into readable high-quality plain text as well as is possible given the limitations of the target format.
