vDos is specific to run serious (mainly text mode) DOS applications in Windows 32 or 64-bit, Windows 7 or later. You need at least already use such a DOS application to appreciate vDos. gLabels is a lightweight program for creating labels and business cards for the GNOME desktop environment. It is designed to work with various laser/ink-jet peel-off label and business card sheets that you'll find at most office supply stores.

CUPS back-end for the canon printers using the proprietary USB over IP BJNP protocol. This back-end allows Cups to print over the network to a Canon printer. OpenPrinting CUPS is the most current version of CUPS, a standards-based, open-source printing system for Linux® and other Unix®-like operating systems. CUPS supports printing to AirPrint™ and IPP Everywhere™ printers.

PSlib is a C-library for generating multi page PostScript documents. There are functions for drawing lines, arcs, rectangles, curves, etc. PSlib also provides very sophisticated functions for text output including hyphenation and kerning.

Those who have read past the "Malware" warning can be assured there is absolutely no malware in this OS or in the download. This warning comes from the "netcat" binary included in the download as a DOS time client. Unfortunately netcat has code that is flagged as malware. FREESCO, a NAT/firewall router/server based on Linux and runs on a single 1.44MB floppy. CUPS is the widely used printing system for UNIX-like operating systems that presents a modern, network-centric print stack built around IPP. It includes the scheduler (the print server), filters, backends, and PPD/driver plumbing needed to accept jobs, determine capabilities, rasterize or convert, and deliver output to devices over local and network transports. Its modular pipeline lets administrators and vendors plug in drivers or filter chains while retaining a consistent user-facing interface across platforms. Client tools and libraries provide command-line and programmatic access for queue management, job submission, and printer discovery. Over time CUPS has aligned closely with driverless printing via IPP-Everywhere/AirPrint-style capability exchange, reducing the need for vendor-specific drivers on many devices. The project’s reference implementation is battle-tested across desktops, servers, and embedded systems that expose print services to a network.
