NPDB offers a comprehensive platform for creating and maintaining a database of both old, digitized images and new snapshots captured by smartphones. This versatile system allows users to organize and search through their collection using customizable tags, catering to images of any vintage. One of NPDB's key features is its flexible tagging system, which allows users to categorize their images using an arbitrary set of tags tailored to their preferences. This intuitive approach streamlines the organization process, making it easier than ever to locate specific images amidst a vast collection. Powered by an embedded SQL database, NPDB delivers lightning-fast search results, ensuring that users can access the images they need almost instantaneously. Whether searching by tags or entering free-text queries, NPDB executes SQL queries efficiently, providing accurate results in no time. Developed primarily in C++, NPDB ensures seamless operation on Linux, Windows (via WSL), and Chrome OS.

Scans a given directory and makes one or more index files, that contains thumbnails of all image files found. The filename and image dimensions are overlayed on the thumbnails. It is a BASH script using NetPBM for image manipulation.

PBAlbum(Perl Bash Album) is an album written in Perl(display images) and Bash(make resized thumbnails). Whole album is about 150 lines of code making it extremely light and fast.

At this time it is a simple script for uploading your photos and videos to SmugMug.com including check for already uploaded items. In the future it should be a Linux/Windows/Mac solution for a 2-way sync with SmugMug.com.

cwg is GNU Bash script. I wrote it with one thing in my mind: simplicity.

Simple script that creates an HTML index based on the images in that folder. Facilitates generating a gallery from a directory full of pictures.

If you have a large Number of Folders with Pictures, this script will resize the pictures to a smaller value and put them to a html webpage. So for every folder there is finally a html webpage with a preview of the pics.

POSIX shell script able to synchronize your local folders with smugmug.com web gallery. Tested on Solaris and Linux. Currently can only upload multiple images, but the intention is to upgrade it to be able to manage whole galleries.
