0.2 is the upcoming major release of Olive. It's a complete rewrite from the ground up designed around cutting-edge features to help you make the best videos possible. Olive 0.2 provides powerful and flexible node-based compositing. Node editing is a form of visual programming that gives you full control over how Olive renders your video. Rather than a "fixed" pipeline where one effect occurs after the other, nodes allow you to connect anything to anything else allowing a ton of flexibility for creating effects. You'll be able to create virtually any effect without writing a single line of code (or waiting for us to implement it for you). Additionally, these nodes can be copied and pasted into text allowing them to be shared extremely easily. Olive 0.2 features end-to-end color management provided by OpenColorIO. This will allow you to match footage from multiple cameras with extremely minimal effort, as well as export your footage to whatever color space you need.

Vidiot is a non-linear video editor targeted for home video editing. It supports compositing (scaling/rotating/positioning), cropping, changing speed, adding transitions and titles, trimming, key frames, etc.

GLMixer performs real time graphical blending of several movie clips and of computer generated graphics. Drop video files in the mixing workspace and place them in a circular area to change their opacity ; if you selects two videos, moving them together performs a fading transition. This softwares allows splitting of TV recordings (MPEG2 TS or H264 TS) with an helping tool to detect commercials with a fast search of sequences containing the channel logo. During films or series, TV channels often display a logo on the corner of the screen, and this logo generally disappears during commercials. Therefore, you just have to isolate sequences with the logo to clean the movie. Of course, the tool has all the necessary functions to manually adjust the sequence on a frame-by-frame basis. The sequences are saved in the input format (no reencoding), therefore it's very fast. To reencode, you'll have to use another tool (there are a lot available on the web). The logos can be stored as presets to be automatically reused each time you process a movie from the same channel. Now a full user manual is available.
