UFTP is an encrypted multicast file transfer program, designed to securely, reliably, and efficiently transfer files to multiple receivers simultaneously. This is useful for distributing large files to a large number of receivers, and is especially useful for data distribution over a satellite link (with two way communication), where the inherent delay makes any TCP based communication highly inefficient. The multicast encryption scheme is based on TLS with extensions to allow multiple receivers to share a common key. UFTP also has the capability to communicate over disjoint networks separated by one or more firewalls (NAT traversal) and without full end-to-end multicast capability (multicast tunneling) through the use of a UFTP proxy server. These proxies also provide scalability by aggregating responses from a group of receivers.

Privoxy is a non-caching web proxy with advanced filtering capabilities for enhancing privacy, modifying web page data and HTTP headers, controlling access, and removing ads and other obnoxious Internet junk. Privoxy has a flexible configuration and can be customized to suit individual needs and tastes. It has application for both stand-alone systems and multi-user networks.

ipmiutil is an easy to use set of IPMI server management utilities. It can get/set sensor readings & thresholds, automate SEL management, do SOL console, etc. Supports Linux, Windows, BSD, Solaris, MacOSX. The only IPMI project tool that runs natively on Windows. Conky is a free, light-weight system monitor for X, that displays any kind of information on your desktop. Conky is free software and runs in X on Linux and BSD. Originally a fork of Torsmo, Conky's torsmo-based code is BSD licensed. New code in Conky has been licensed under GPL 3.0. Since its inception, Conky has changed significantly from its predecessor, while maintaining simplicity and configurability. Conky can display just about anything, either on your root desktop, in its own window. Not only does Conky have many built-in objects, it can also display just about any piece of information by using scripts and other external programs. A plethora of OS stats (uname, uptime, CPU usage, mem usage, disk usage, "top" like process stats, and network monitoring, just to name a few). Conky can display information either as text, or using simple progress bars and graph widgets, with different fonts and colours.

Ganglia is a scalable distributed monitoring system for high-performance computing systems such as clusters and Grids. It is based on a hierarchical design targeted at federations of clusters. Supports clusters up to 2000 nodes in size.

It's fast and has a powerful filter pcap like syntax. It supports netflow versions v1, v5, v7, v9 and IPFIX as well as a limited set of sflow. It includes support for CISCO ASA (NSEL) and CISCO NAT (NEL) devices, which export event logging records as v9 flows. nfdump is fully IPv6 compatible.

LCDproc controls various LCD and VFD devices in a standardized way, and ships with a client to display various system statistics. Supports multiple platforms (Linux, *BSD, Solaris). Client/server model allows multiple clients to use one display.

BWPing is a tool to measure bandwidth and response times between two hosts using Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) echo request/echo reply mechanism. It does not require any special software on the remote host. The only requirement is the ability to respond on ICMP echo request messages. BWPing supports both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

Netdiscover is a network address discovering tool that was developed mainly for those wireless networks without DHCP servers, though it also works on wired networks. It sends ARP requests and sniffs for replies.

nload is a console application which monitors network traffic and bandwidth usage in real time. It visualizes the in- and outgoing traffic using two graphs and provides additional info like total amount of transfered data and min/max network usage.

tsocks provides transparent network access through a SOCKS version 4 or 5 proxy (usually on a firewall). tsocks intercepts the calls applications make to establish TCP connections and transparently proxies them as necessary.

It is intended to be usable in embedded environments, including spacecraft flight computers and ground systems. ION 4.x builds BPv7 (RFC 9171) by default, with a configure option for BPv6 (RFC 5050). Windows installers for both BPv6 and BPv7 are provided.
