A cross-platform application for exploring Conway's Game of Life and many other types of cellular automata.

Euler is a powerful all-in-one numerical software and includes Maxima for seamless symbolic computations. Euler supports Latex for math display, Povray for photo-realistic 3D scenes, Python, Matplotlib and C for scripting, and contains a full programming language. Features include libraries for numerical algorithms, optimization, plotting in 2D and 3D, graphics export, a complete help system, tutorials and examples. Euler runs in Windows natively, or in Linux via Wine. It is completely free of royalties. The source is licensed under GPL.

Surface Explorer 3D plots mathematical surfaces in 3D. User defined surface equations can be explicit, implicit, or parametric. Surface and color equations are specified by user. The user can export to the clipboard, or file formats including VRML, POV, DXF, STL, and output to a printer. The STL format can be used to do 3D printing to create a physical object. Surface Explorer 3D is provided as freeware in the hopes that others can enjoy exploring math equations. Full MFC C++ source code is included as freeware. Matlab Toolbox to process video files, which consists on a set of classes for reading, writing, correcting light changes and generating gaussian pyramids in real time. This toolbox is designed for Windows x64, Max OS X x64 and Linux x64. Multidimensional Array (MDA) is a class for creating and using multi-dimensional arrays. Storage for the array is based on a templated C++ STL vector class. The beauty of the STL vector class is that it automagically resizes itself when constructing or copying. Caveat Emptor. The multidimensional arrays are indexed using unsigned integers. The types that may stored may be any that provide a copy and assignment operator.

GLSLmath provides C++ math operations as defined by GLSL. For example, it provides methods to easily setup viewing transformations and perspective projections. GLSLmath has been inspired by the glm and slmath libraries, which aim to mimic GLSL, but in contrast to those GLSLmath does not focus on a complete conforming implementation of GLSL. It rather aims to provide a convenient single header file that implements the most commonly used subset of GLSL so that it is easy to use for rapid prototyping and GLSL teaching purposes. It is used at the Georg-Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg for teaching computer graphics courses.
