Zebra_Database
A MySQL database wrapper written in PHP
Zebra_Database it is an advanced, compact (one-file only), lightweight, MySQL database wrapper built upon PHP's MySQL extension. It provides methods for interacting with MySQL databases that are more powerful and intuitive to use than PHP's default ones. It supports transactions and provides ways for caching query results either by saving cached data on the disk, or by using memcache. The class provides a comprehensive debugging interface with detailed information about the executed queries: execution time, returned/affected rows, excerpts of the found rows, error messages, etc. It also automatically EXPLAIN's each SELECT query (so you don't miss those keys again!). It encourages developers to write maintainable code and provides a better default security layer by encouraging the use of prepared statements, where parameters are automatically escaped. This is a simple application which uses basic reading of Microsoft Windows executable files to get exports section of DLLs so as to properly create DEF files. They are useful for generating LIB files from DLLs to be used, for instance, with Visual Studio projects. That's the case of MinGW DLLs; for them to be used in Visual Studio projects you need the LIB and header files of those libraries. And this is when my tool comes to play a key role. An Efficient Binary data Format
EBF, which stands for Efficient Binary Format, is a binary file format for reading and writing binary data easily. Reading writing routines are currently available in C,C++,Fortran,Java, Python, IDL, MATLAB. A program called ebftkpy which has a set of utility functions to work with the .ebf files , e.g., viewing the contents and getting a summary, is also provided. The EBF specification is designed to be concise and easy to understand to make it easier for others to write their own code if needed. It is also designed to simplify the programming of input output routines in different programming languages. In a nutshell an EBF file is a collection of data objects. Each data object is specified by a unique name and a single file can have multiple data objects. Each data object is preceded by a meta-data or header which describes the binary data associated with it. Among other things, this header allows the files to be portable across systems with different endianess. -
