base64 RFC1113 Vanilla ANSI-C Code for a portable stand-alone file encode/decode utility. In 2001, I asked people to 'Help me break it!' Since then, 10+years later, the code remains unbroken and is in wide production use world-wide. It has been ported to all major architectures and been used as a template for ports to different computer and human languages. This is very mature and stable code. Although this comes from a project that was constrained by export controls and is used in secure systems, it is not security code per-se. I have therefore altered the 'Export Controls' category.

MQTTnet
High performance .NET library for MQTT based communication
MQTTnet is a high-performance .NET library for MQTT-based communication. It provides an MQTT client and an MQTT server (broker) and supports the MQTT protocol up to version 5. TLS support for client and server (but not UWP servers). Extensible communication channels (e.g. In-Memory, TCP, TCP+TLS, WS). Lightweight (only the low-level implementation of MQTT, no overhead). Performance optimized (processing ~150.000 messages/second). Uniform API across all supported versions of the MQTT protocol. Tested on the local machine (Intel i7 8700K) with MQTTnet client and server running in the same process using the TCP channel. The app for verification is part of this repository and stored in /Tests/MQTTnet.TestApp.NetCore. List of connected clients available. Supports connected clients with different protocol versions at the same time. Able to publish its own messages (no loopback client required). Able to receive every message (no loopback client required). -

Eris
A NodeJS Discord library
A Node.js wrapper for interfacing with Discord. You will need NodeJS 10.4+. If you need voice support you will also need Python 2.7 and a C++ compiler. Create a directory for your bot, and change to that directory in your command line. If you want to be more updated (at the expense of stability), you can install the beta builds instead. Eris supports a few optional libraries that could potentially improve bot performance but may require additional dependencies. If you want Eris to use any of these packages, install them in the same directory as Eris, and Eris will automatically use them. You can find more examples on the GitHub repo. The library starts with the tcp protocol as it is implemented in the QtNetwork module[1] and creates two top level managing structures: a client and a server. Javascript library for the Twitch Messaging Interface
Connect to and interact with Twitch chat (IRC) from Node.js or a browser. Control the delay in milliseconds between JOIN requests when using the channels array option. Minimum of 300 milliseconds. If the identity has special permission from Twitch for a higher join rate then you should implement your own calls to the client.join method. Disable receiving JOIN/PART events for other users. Good for decreasing network traffic when joining lots of channels or you don't care about this data. After a threshold per channel Twitch stops sending this data so it may not be necessary for all cases. Channels to automatically join upon connecting. The rate of joins is controlled by the options.joinInterval option. Automatically reconnect the client if it gets disconnected for any reason. Sometimes Twitch will request the client to reconnect and tmi.js will disconnect and reconnect even if this option is set to false.
