tkcalendar is a python module that provides the Calendar and DateEntry widgets for Tkinter. The DateEntry widget is similar to a Combobox, but the drop-down is not a list but a Calendar to select a date. tkcalendar is compatible with both Python 2 and Python 3. It support all locale settings supported by the system and the colors are customizable.

BAScript is a simple scripting engine written in Object Pascal you can use to add scripting to your Delphi, Lazarus or Free Pascal applications ("host program") to extend their functionality without the need of recompiling them. The virtual machine defines its own language, called the BAScript language. It is a low-level language, somewhat similar to the Assembler language, which is not intended to be easy to program but easy to execute. So it is recommendable to use other higher level languages and translate them into BAScript language. Package includes two compilers that translates from a higher-level language to the BAScript language. You should note that BAScript is intended to be lightweight, so it has not mechanisms to handle complex data structures or large amounts of data or code. On the other hand, it has less need for memory and resources than other scripting interpreters. If you need more power you may try PascalScript.

RELATED framework proposes a structured methodology of remote/virtual labs development and, also, provides common facilities as user management, booking, basic visualization (trend graphs and direct interaction using interactives variables), data logging and experimental session’s control. In order to get these facilities, an RLAB (Remote LABoratory) system it defined using a formal specification of a virtual or remote laboratory (based on XML and used to structure components for laboratory). The main component is experiment, so students could run these experiments using RELATED facilities as painting data from the laboratory, change any relevant variable or take a look on laboratory structure. In order to integrate a laboratory as an RLAB system, the researchers and lecturers only have to develop local access to equipment using Java technology, using the “module” paradigm.

Aglyph is a Dependency Injection framework for Python, supporting type 2 (setter) and type 3 (constructor) injection. Aglyph runs on CPython (http://www.python.org/) 2.7 and 3.4+, and on recent versions of the PyPy (http://pypy.org/>),Jython (http://www.jython.org/), IronPython (http://ironpython.net/), and Stackless Python (http://www.stackless.com/) variants. Aglyph can assemble "prototype" components (a new instance is created every time), "singleton" components (the same instance is returned every time), "borg" components (a new instance is created every time, but all instances of the same class share the same internal state), and "weakref" components (the same instance is returned as long as there is at least one "live" reference to the instance in the running application). Aglyph can be configured using a declarative XML syntax, or programmatically in pure Python using a fluent API.
