The recent removal of HttpClient in Android Marshmallow(Android M) made other networking libraries obsolete. No other single library does and everything like making requests, downloading any type of file, uploading file, loading images from the network in ImageView, etc. There are some libraries but they are outdated. No other library provides a simple interface for doing all types of things in networking like setting priority, canceling, etc. As it uses Okio , No more GC overhead in android applications. Okio is made to handle GC overhead while allocating memory. Okio does some clever things to save CPU and memory. -

A library for sending AWS Signature Version 4 signed requests over HTTP to Amazon Neptune. This package provides signers that can be used with various implementations of HttpRequests. AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is an AWS service that helps an administrator securely control access to AWS resources. IAM administrators control who can be authenticated (signed in) and authorized (have permissions) to use Neptune resources. IAM is an AWS service that you can use with no additional charge. You can use AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) to authenticate to your Neptune DB instance or DB cluster. When IAM database authentication is enabled, each request must be signed using AWS Signature Version 4. AWS Signature Version 4 adds authentication information to AWS requests. For security, all requests to Neptune DB clusters with IAM authentication enabled must be signed with an access key. This key consists of an access key ID and secret access key. -

This is a modern set of libraries intended for use in software related to the Tandy Radio Shack Color Computer (the CoCo). Some functionality may also be useful in more general Motorola 6809 centered projects. CocoCommons provides a set of libraries for common tasks such as reading DECB and RBF filesystems, interpretting common file formats, and displaying CoCo-like screens. These are used extensively in the DriveWire 4 project and the upcoming nineserver project. In time it these libraries should implement most of the functionality now found in the Toolshed project. -

The aim of this open-source project is to create a Java library to send and receive such data, because there is actually no open-source project at all in this field. Keep in mind that those protocols are old and not maintained anymore by any company, but still used in many old PLCs installations. -
