'Kglaunch' is an application launcher from 'Kulina Graphics' (www.facebook.com/kulinagraphics , https://www.sourceforge.net/u/tcbabu). It is basically a fun application, if you are interested in a clean desktop, probably you may find it interesting. However, if you are a 'GNOME' user, then 'kglaunch' may not be of much interest to you. For others, it may have some fun. You can keep your desktop clean and panel hidden and include 'kglaunch' in the start up programs. If you prefer a really clean desktop, you can use, 'hotspot' (part of kglaunch ) as your start up program instead of 'kglaunch'. It will provide two hotspots in the desktop; 1. In the center of the screen, a mouse click there will bring up 'kglaunch' 2. Top left corner, which will bring up 'firefox' (if you have installed firefox browser). I have personally kept 'kgclock' (https://www.sourceforge.net/u/tcbabu) also in the start up, I like the clock on the desktop (it will alert me my medicine time).

The PiAppLauncher is a small and simplistic PyGTK program for 2,8" touchscreens attached to an Raspberry Pi. It creates a button for every "pi-app". It is meant to run in kiosk-mode and replaces the traditional desktop, which is not suited for small screens with only 320x240 pixel resolution. dzBdsLauncher tries to solve the problem of accidentally opening a Delphi project with the wrong Delphi version. While .dproj files can be opened with newer versions of Delphi than the one that created them, it does not work the other way around. So if you open a Delphi 10 .dproj file with e.g. Delphi 2007, you will just get an error message. If you open a Delphi 2007 .dproj file with Delphi 10, it will automatically convert it to the new format used by that version and it will be unreadable by Delphi 2007. The idea is to register dzBdsLauncher as the handler for .dpr, .dproj, .bdsproj, .dof and .groupproj files in Windows, so your chances of opening the right version of Delphi when double clicking on such a file will be much higher than normal.
