This is a modified version of the CRC algorithms by Lammert Bies. It supports more algorithms and has been ported to several languages. It's also useful for learning how to do hexadecimal calculations and bitwise operations in various programming languages. Disclaimer: These test programs demonstrate the calculation of CRC. I made these translation with a basic knowledge of each language. They may or may not be appropriately formatted / secured / robustified / idiot proofed or any similar programming issues.

Perstem is a Persian (Farsi) stemmer, morphological analyzer, transliterator, and partial part-of-speech tagger. Inflexional morphemes are separated or removed from their stems. Perstem can also tokenize and transliterate between various character set encodings and romanizations.

RanBunHyou is a Q&D generator of BINGO-like word games and other randomized teaching materials from plain text files. Entertains children studying vocabulary, etc. For Java 2+ (jre1.4+) and Macintosh System 7 to 9, being re-written in perl/CGI.

Small Android application that provides access to dictionary index. The index provides full list of words and full list of articles. The list of words is searchable by prefix. Words may have alternative writings (kana-kanji in Japanese). The indexes are created separately and may have different sets of dictionaries.

This is software to create web dictionaries, esp. for Esperanto like Reta Vortaro (http://reta-vortaro.de). A dictionary is made from articles written in a special XML dialect by transformations using XSLT, ant and some Java code.

The glyph outlines origin from Yasna 10 of the manuscript of Tehran University Library, nr. 11263. The scanned manuscript can be viewed under Ave976 on wwww.avesta-archive.com In the manuscript long [i] and long [u] do not differ, as well as both short and long [o]. Nevertheless, long [u] and short [o] are mapped in the font. Their outlines follow the script style of the manuscript. The letters for [θ] and [x] have two different shapes in the manuscript, so I have added one of each of them into the Private Use Area. Most of ligatures encountered in the manuscript have been mapped as well in the Private Use Area range. The punctuation of the manuscript includes only two signs from the Avestan Unicode range: the centered period and the so called "large two dots over one dot", so only these two signs were mapped in the font.
