Calibre is a useful and powerful eBook Management System. Calibre has the ability to view, convert, edit, and catalog e-books of almost any e-book format. This open source ebook manager and e-reader solution give you a free access to read and manage your digital book collection with ease.

Fileaxy is a file de-duplication, organization, synchronization, and bulk previewing tool which utilizes a new user interface for local file management. Using content hashing or machine vision algorithms, Fileaxy can detect identical files as well as similar names, images, videos, or fonts and correlate those to others based on naming conventions. Optionally integrates with ImageMagick, GraphicsMagick, FFmpeg, and Mac Sips file decoding with a simple button click. Fileaxy opens NO network connections and will NOT request passwords. Fileaxy uses NO 3rd party libraries or code. Read/write wear to SSDs and mechanical drives is minimized where possible. Avicenna is an application for visualizing location data stored in excel or .csv table files on a map or in a table view. It provides several export functions (such as single pictures, database dumps and even a HTML-export that enables you to use Avicenna on your website). It was developed as part of the course "Techniken der Projektentwicklung" in summer semester 2012 at the University of Bielefeld by Team 2 and is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. This project is finished and other developers should be able to use Avicennas features for their own visualization projects without having too much trouble. We provide an installation/building tutorial as well as the complete sourcecode and necessary databases. Avicennas internal language is German, therefore it may be necessary to do translation work for international use. For more details, please have a look at our project website.
