The library manages an internal send queue so that messages requested before the socket is open are safely sent once the connection is ready. Requests for PHP is a humble HTTP request library
Requests is a HTTP library written in PHP, for human beings. It is roughly based on the API from the excellent Requests Python library. Requests is ISC Licensed (similar to the new BSD license) and has no dependencies, except for PHP 5.6+. Despite PHP’s use as a language for the web, its tools for sending HTTP requests are severely lacking. cURL has an interesting API, to say the least, and you can’t always rely on it being available. Sockets provide only low-level access and require you to build most of the HTTP response parsing yourself. Requests allows you to send HEAD, GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, and PATCH HTTP requests. You can add headers, form data, multipart files, and parameters with basic arrays, and access the response data in the same way. Requests uses cURL and fsockopen, depending on what your system has available, but abstracts all the nasty stuff out of your way, providing a consistent API. -

Web framework in Rust
Rouille is a micro-web-framework library. It creates a listening socket and parses incoming HTTP requests from clients, then gives you the hand to process the request. Rouille was designed to be intuitive to use if you know Rust. Contrary to express-like frameworks, it doesn't employ middlewares. Instead, everything is handled in a linear way. Concepts closely related to websites (like cookies, CGI, form input, etc.) are directly supported by rouille. More general concepts (like database handling or templating) are not directly handled, as they are considered orthogonal to the microweb framework. However, rouille's design makes it easy to use in conjunction with any third-party library without the need for any glue code. The rouille library just ignores this optimization and focuses on providing an easy-to-use synchronous API instead, where each request is handled in its own dedicated thread. -

Swagger-to-GraphQL converts your existing Swagger schema to an executable GraphQL schema where resolvers perform HTTP calls to certain real endpoints. It allows you to move your API to GraphQL with nearly zero effort and maintain both REST and GraphQL APIs. Our CLI tool also allows you get the GraphQL schema in Schema Definition Language. This library will fetch your swagger schema, convert it to a GraphQL schema and convert GraphQL parameters to REST parameters. From there you are control of making the actual REST call. This means you can reuse your existing HTTP client, use existing authentication schemes and override any part of the REST call. You can override the REST host, proxy incoming request headers along to your REST backend, add caching etc. -

True object-oriented Java web framework without NULLs
Takes is a true object-oriented and immutable Java8 web development framework. Pay attention that UTF-8 encoding is set on the command line. The entire framework relies on your default Java encoding, which is not necessarily UTF-8 by default. To be sure, always set it on the command line with file.encoding Java argument. We decided not to hard-code "UTF-8" in our code mostly because this would be against the entire idea of Java localization, according to which a user always should have a choice of encoding and language selection. We're using Charset.defaultCharset() everywhere in the code. Essential part of Bigger Example is Front interface. It's encapsulates server's back-end and used to start an instance, which will accept requests and return results. FtBasic, which is a basic front, implements that interface. -

(Really) Thin HTTP Client: no https, small jar file size (never over 25kb), no dependencies (just jre1.6+ or jdk1.6+), can do POST and GET request methods, can send POST methods with multipart/form-data, can send request parameters and fast. Get it!
