This project includes both hardware- and software design for a new innovative Home Thermostat. It is based on NXP ARM-M series microcontroller and offers a large touch screen. All software and interfaces are open allowing other users to add custom hardware, such as sensors and actuators for home automation. Also, a network connection is provided (WIFI optional) to allow mobile apps to communicate with the home thermostat to set and read values and/or control the home automation system.

The SmartThings repository by krlaframboise collects custom SmartApps and Device Handlers (in Groovy) for the SmartThings home automation platform. It provides a library of community-developed automation logic and device support code to extend SmartThings beyond its built-in offerings. Users can deploy these scripts in the SmartThings IDE to customize device behavior, logging, capabilities, dashboards, notifications, etc. Device Handlers (drivers) for extended hardware support. This is a Java library, which gives low level access to the WS300 weather station from ELV (http://www.elv.de/). There is a web frontend included which displays the weather data in a browser. The following hardware is supported: * WS300 PC (USB) * IPWE1 (LAN) * Raspberry Pi with FS20WUE (LAN)

By default, yearfolder will create a new directory named after the current year. Inside the created directory, 12 directories are made, each named after months of the year. The main use for yearfolder is making several folders named after consecutive years, each with its own monthly subdirectories.
