Tux Paint is a free, award-winning drawing program originally created for children ages 3 to 12, but enjoyed by all! It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program. You're presented with a blank canvas and a variety of drawing tools to help them be creative. Along with paintbrush, shapes and text, Tux Paint includes a "stamp" feature to add pre-drawn or photographic imagery to pictures, and a set of "magic tools" that provide filter effects (like blur, tint and waves) and interesting drawing tools (like train tracks, bubbles and grass). We develop lots of different Android apps at Yalantis, and our experience shows that almost every application we deal with needs image cropping functionality. Vibrance HDR is an app for Android(TM), which allows you to create high dynamic range (HDR) images, either from a single photo, or from multiple* auto exposure bracketed (AEB) photos. Content aware image cropping
Image cropping is a common task in many web applications. Usually just cutting out the center of the image works out ok. It's often a compromise and sometimes it fails miserably. Smartcrop.js is the result of my experiments with content aware image cropping. It uses fairly simple image processing and a few rules to attempt to create better crops of images. This library is still in it's infancy but the early results look promising. So true to the open source mantra of release early, release often, I'm releasing version 0.0.0 of smartcrop.js. Smartcrop.js implements an algorithm to find good crops for images. It can be used in the browser, in node or via a CLI. Smarcrop requires support for Promises, use a polyfill for unsupported browsers or set smartcrop.Promise to your favorite promise implementation (I recommend bluebird).
