GeographicLib is a small C++ library for: geodesic and rhumb line calculations; conversions between geographic, UTM, UPS, MGRS, geocentric, and local cartesian coordinates; gravity (e.g., EGM2008) and geomagnetic field (e.g., WMM2020) calculations.

A web based Metadata Catalog Server for data description and discovery. Supports both generic and geospatial data discovery. It implements international standards (e.g. ISO19115/19139/19119, ISO19115-3, DCAT-AP, CSW 2.0, OGC API Records). It originates from the United Nations and is used by many governments as geoportal software. Active development and discussion takes place on GitHub and OSGeo Discourse. Mapbox GL JS is a JavaScript library that uses WebGL to render interactive maps from vector tiles and Mapbox styles. It is part of the Mapbox GL ecosystem, which includes Mapbox Mobile, a compatible renderer written in C++ with bindings for desktop and mobile platforms. Mapbox GL JS is part of the cross-platform Mapbox GL ecosystem, which also includes compatible native SDKs for applications on Android, iOS, macOS, Qt, and React Native. Mapbox provides building blocks to add location features like maps, search, and navigation into any experience you create. In addition to GL JS, this repository contains code, issues, and test fixtures that are common to both GL JS and the native SDKs. OpenSeaMap's goal is to add nautical and tourism information a sailor could be interested in to OSM (OpenStreetMap) and to present it in a pleasing way. Those include beacons, buoys and other seamark and port information.

OSGB Web Map Tools is a set of software code and installation instructions that will enable web developers to produce dynamic mapping web sites using Ordnance Survey map data on the internet.

This project provides and open source implementation of HELD and related specifications. A HELD client and Location Information Server are included.

The project wms2GO is designed to build a local executable WebGIS application out of pre-defined or manual selected WMS (OGC WebMapServices) of free map extract. Thus it is possible to use this application on a mobile device (e.g. a laptop) without any network access. Manuals for Installation and Setup have been added to the SVN. Project consist of 2 parts. One of them is a J2ME app. used to get information such as photo, position, speed & course from GPS and transfers it to the web server. Another one is a web app. which allows to manage and display received data using GoogleMap

AppForMap is a collection of PHP modules for web mapping. The project comprises both clients and server for dealing with simple features, GML, WKT, WMS, WFS, PostGIS databases etc. It can also act as a backend for an OpenLayers frontend.

ArgooMap is an online, map-based discussion forum, which allows participants to reference their contributions to geographic locations. This project helps to digitize field data for a certain Bird Census method. Namely, bird census based on personal inspection or small (~10 km^2) regions with recording birds' position and behaviour on paper. This project makes it easy to annotate such field data and to make this data available for statistical analysis.

BizGEO is an open source platform developed to provide a simple interface for geographical data collection and data storage. BizGEO is integrated with a standard open source map server (GeoServer) to form an integrated GIS data collection suite. BizGEO is made up of three main components; BizGEOServer which is a facility for managing data by organising them in projects; BizGEOApp, a mobile app which is being used by the field users to collect data through set of defined forms, and GeoServer which manages and publishes the data using open standards.
