    Grenade

    Grenade

    Deep Learning in Haskell

Grenade is a composable, dependently typed, practical, and fast recurrent neural network library for concise and precise specifications of complex networks in Haskell. Because the types are so rich, there's no specific term level code required to construct this network; although it is of course possible and easy to construct and deconstruct the networks and layers explicitly oneself. Networks in Grenade can be thought of as a heterogeneous list of layers, where their type includes not only the layers of the network but also the shapes of data that are passed between the layers. To perform back propagation, one can call the eponymous function which takes a network, appropriate input, and target data, and returns the back propagated gradients for the network. The shapes of the gradients are appropriate for each layer and may be trivial for layers like Relu which have no learnable parameters.

    Hands-on Unsupervised Learning

    Hands-on Unsupervised Learning

Code for Hands-on Unsupervised Learning Using Python (O'Reilly Media)

This repo contains the code for the O'Reilly Media, Inc. book "Hands-on Unsupervised Learning Using Python: How to Build Applied Machine Learning Solutions from Unlabeled Data" by Ankur A. Patel. Many industry experts consider unsupervised learning the next frontier in artificial intelligence, one that may hold the key to the holy grail in AI research, the so-called general artificial intelligence. Since the majority of the world's data is unlabeled, conventional supervised learning cannot be applied; this is where unsupervised learning comes in. Unsupervised learning can be applied to unlabeled datasets to discover meaningful patterns buried deep in the data, patterns that may be near impossible for humans to uncover. Author Ankur Patel provides practical knowledge on how to apply unsupervised learning using two simple, production-ready Python frameworks - scikit-learn and TensorFlow. With the hands-on examples and code provided, you will identify difficult-to-find patterns in data.

    HyperGAN

    HyperGAN

Composable GAN framework with api and user interface

A composable GAN built for developers, researchers, and artists. HyperGAN builds generative adversarial networks in PyTorch and makes them easy to train and share. HyperGAN is currently in pre-release and open beta. Everyone will have different goals when using hypergan. HyperGAN is currently beta. We are still searching for a default cross-data-set configuration. Each of the examples supports search. Automated search can help find good configurations. If you are unsure, you can start with the 2d-distribution.py. Check out random_search.py for possibilities, you'll likely want to modify it. The examples are capable of (sometimes) finding a good trainer, like 2d-distribution. Mixing and matching components seems to work.

    Image Super-Resolution (ISR)

    Image Super-Resolution (ISR)

Super-scale your images and run experiments with Residual Dense

The goal of this project is to upscale and improve the quality of low-resolution images. This project contains Keras implementations of different Residual Dense Networks for Single Image Super-Resolution (ISR) as well as scripts to train these networks using content and adversarial loss components. Docker scripts and Google Colab notebooks are available to carry training and prediction. Also, we provide scripts to facilitate training on the cloud with AWS and Nvidia-docker with only a few commands. When training your own model, start with only PSNR loss (50+ epochs, depending on the dataset) and only then introduce GANS and feature loss. This can be controlled by the loss weights argument. The weights used to produce these images are available directly when creating the model object. ISR is compatible with Python 3.6 and is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license.

    Kaleidoscope-SDK

    Kaleidoscope-SDK

User toolkit for analyzing and interfacing with Large Language Models

kaleidoscope-sdk is a Python module used to interact with large language models hosted via the Kaleidoscope service available at: https://github.com/VectorInstitute/kaleidoscope. It provides a simple interface to launch LLMs on an HPC cluster, asking them to perform basic features like text generation, but also retrieve intermediate information from inside the model, such as log probabilities and activations. Users must authenticate using their Vector Institute cluster credentials. This can be done interactively instantiating a client object. This will generate an authentication token that will be used for all subsequent requests. The token will expire after 30 days, at which point the user will be prompted to re-authenticate.

    Lightweight' GAN

    Lightweight' GAN

Implementation of 'lightweight' GAN, proposed in ICLR 2021

Implementation of 'lightweight' GAN proposed in ICLR 2021, in Pytorch. The main contribution of the paper is a skip-layer excitation in the generator, paired with autoencoding self-supervised learning in the discriminator. Quoting the one-line summary "converge on single gpu with few hours' training, on 1024 resolution sub-hundred images". Augmentation is essential for Lightweight GAN to work effectively in a low data setting. You can test and see how your images will be augmented before they pass into a neural network (if you use augmentation). The general recommendation is to use suitable augs for your data and as many as possible, then after some time of training disable the most destructive (for image) augs. You can turn on automatic mixed precision with one flag --amp. You should expect it to be 33% faster and save up to 40% memory. Aim is an open-source experiment tracker that logs your training runs, and enables a beautiful UI to compare them.

    Minimal text diffusion

    Minimal text diffusion

A minimal implementation of diffusion models for text generation

A minimal implementation of diffusion models of text: learns a diffusion model of a given text corpus, allowing to generate text samples from the learned model. The main idea was to retain just enough code to allow training a simple diffusion model and generating samples, remove image-related terms, and make it easier to use. To train a model, run scripts/train.sh. By default, this will train a model on the simple corpus. However, you can change this to any text file using the --train_data argument. Note that you may have to increase the sequence length (--seq_len) if your corpus is longer than the simple corpus. The other default arguments are set to match the best setting I found for the simple corpus.

    NÜWA - Pytorch

    NÜWA - Pytorch

Implementation of NÜWA, attention network for text to video synthesis

Implementation of NÜWA, state of the art attention network for text-to-video synthesis, in Pytorch. It also contains an extension into video and audio generation, using a dual decoder approach. It seems as though a diffusion-based method has taken the new throne for SOTA. However, I will continue on with NUWA, extending it to use multi-headed codes + hierarchical causal transformer. I think that direction is untapped for improving on this line of work. In the paper, they also present a way to condition the video generation based on segmentation mask(s). You can easily do this as well, given you train a VQGanVAE on the sketches beforehand. Then, you will use NUWASketch instead of NUWA, which can accept the sketch VAE as a reference. This repository will also offer a variant of NUWA that can produce both video and audio. For now, the audio will need to be encoded manually.

    OpenAI DALL·E AsyncImage SwiftUI

OpenAI swift async text to image for SwiftUI app using OpenAI

SwiftUI views that asynchronously loads and displays an OpenAI image from open API. You just type in your idea and AI will give you an art solution. DALL-E and DALL-E 2 are deep learning models developed by OpenAI to generate digital images from natural language descriptions, called "prompts". You need to have Xcode 13 installed in order to have access to Documentation Compiler (DocC) OpenAI's text-to-image model DALL-E 2 is a recent example of diffusion models. It uses diffusion models for both the model's prior (which produces an image embedding given a text caption) and the decoder that generates the final image. In machine learning, diffusion models, also known as diffusion probabilistic models, are a class of latent variable models. They are Markov chains trained using variational inference. The goal of diffusion models is to learn the latent structure of a dataset by modeling the way in which data points diffuse through the latent space.
