In this version we have added support for high-resolution 3D rendering. Try the new “GPU Scaling Factor” feature to increase the 3D resolution beyond the native resolution of 256×192 pixels. Also, the Cocoa frontend sees continued radical enhancements and while the Windows frontend sees some new incremental enhancements. DeSmuME is a very CPU demanding app. While many users will see DeSmuME as a toy (and use it as such), it is actually a very sophisticated piece of software with lots of features. Also, DeSmuME focuses more on compatibility and features than on speed. Our philosophy is this: You can always mow some extra lawns or babysit some more rugrats to buy upgrades for your computer; but there's nothing you can do to fix compatibility or gain new features. We take care of our side of things, so you should take care of yours. DeSmuME is mostly CPU intensive and less GPU intensive. -

OGRE (Object-Oriented Graphics Rendering Engine) is a scene-oriented, flexible 3D engine written in C++ designed to make it easier and more intuitive for developers to produce games and demos utilizing 3D hardware. A refreshingly simple data-driven game engine built in Rust. All engine and game logic uses Bevy ECS, a custom Entity Component System. Massively Parallel and Cache-Friendly. The fastest ECS according to some benchmarks. Components are Rust structs, Systems are Rust functions. Queries, Global Resources, Local Resources, Change Detection, Lock-Free Parallel Scheduler. Bevy is still in the very early stages of development. APIs can and will change (now is the time to make suggestions!). Important features are missing. Documentation is sparse. Please don't build any serious projects in Bevy unless you are prepared to be broken by API changes constantly. Bevy relies heavily on improvements in the Rust language and compiler. As a result, the Minimum Supported Rust Version (MSRV) is "the latest stable release" of Rust. Built directly on top of Bevy's ECS, Renderer, and Scene plugins. -

Phosphor is a free and open-source Minecraft mod (under GNU GPLv3) aiming to save your CPU cycles and improve performance by optimizing one of Minecraft's most inefficient areas-- the lighting engine. It works on both the client and server and can be installed on servers without requiring clients to also have the mod. The mod is designed to be as minimal as possible in the changes it makes, and as such, does not modify the light model or interfaces of vanilla Minecraft. Because of this, Phosphor should be compatible with many Minecraft mods (so long as they do not make drastic changes to how the lighting engine works.) PokeAPI
The Pokémon API
This is a full RESTful API linked to an extensive database detailing everything about the Pokémon main game series. We've covered everything from Pokémon to Berry Flavors. We have awesome documentation on how to use this API. It takes minutes to get started. This API will always be publicly available and will never require any extensive setup process to consume. Each time the build script is run, it will iterate over each table in the database, wipe it, and rewrite each row using the data found in data/v2/CSV. The option to build individual portions of the database was removed in order to increase the performance of the build script. There is also a multi-container set up, managed by Docker Compose. This setup allows you to deploy a production-like environment, with separate containers for each service and is recommended if you need to simply spin up PokéAPI.
