Web-based Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) with integrated Chemical Inventory by the group of Prof. Goossen (TU Kaiserslautern, Germany), based on PHP/MySQL. Allows (sub-)structure search, reaction planning, management of spectra and literature.

Avicenna is an application for visualizing location data stored in excel or .csv table files on a map or in a table view. It provides several export functions (such as single pictures, database dumps and even a HTML-export that enables you to use Avicenna on your website). It was developed as part of the course "Techniken der Projektentwicklung" in summer semester 2012 at the University of Bielefeld by Team 2 and is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. This project is finished and other developers should be able to use Avicennas features for their own visualization projects without having too much trouble. We provide an installation/building tutorial as well as the complete sourcecode and necessary databases. Avicennas internal language is German, therefore it may be necessary to do translation work for international use. For more details, please have a look at our project website.

WODA is a semi-relational database for beginners to work on data and to learn database basis. With web-based GUI and CLI. Currently in rewrite using Bootstrap for web UI. Built with beginners in mind, it is far easier than any other tool I know, while remaining powerful for advanced users (Perl langage is directly available). Databases can be defined, maintained, added-to, modified, and queried entirely through the web interface without programming. It comes from the 90's and thus is very low in computer resources. Žiga Turk, Woda original author, is also the creator of the famous Virtual Shareware Library (that later evolved into shareware.com) and the former Minister for Education, Science, Culture and Sports in the Government of Slovenia.
