Open Source Fonts

This project aims to develop the most complete, standard compliant, high-quality Chinese (and CJKV) fonts and resources, including bitmap and outline fonts of various styles. We also develop web-based tools to facilitate online font-dev collaborations.

We develop 2 artful digital font-families called “Linux Libertine” (serif font) and “Biolinum” (sans-serif). Both elegant good-readable Unicode fonts for daily & professional use (see OpenType & WOFF). Break the monotony of (c) W*ndows Fonts!

Tadween is a powerful multilingual application allowing users to write Arabic in applications that support Unicode but don't fully support Arabic.

BirdFont is a font editor which lets you create vector graphics and export fonts in TTF, EOT and SVG format. Binary releases are available from the website.

Brahmi project aims at producing Java Input Methods and OpenType fonts for Indian languages. They are bundled with Brahmi - Word Processor which installs the fonts, Input Methods and font.properties files
