IMG4DC is a tools package containing two utilities to generate selfboot disc images for your Sega Dreamcast: cdi4dc, designed to make Padus DiscJuggler (CDI) images and mds4dc, designed to make Alcohol 120% (MDS/MDF) images. A selfboot image is a disc image format specially prepared to boot on your Dreamcast. In clear, by burning a selfboot image to a standard blank CD-R, the software containted into this disc image will run onto your Dreamcast, as a legit game disc, without any modchip or other hacking device. To use this software package, you must have mkisofs from the cdrtools project. This tool will create the ISO image needed by img4dc. afpfs-ng is an Apple Filing Protocol client that will allow BSD, Linux and Mac OS X systems to access files exported from a Mac OS system with AFP over TCP.

Afero is a filesystem framework providing a simple, uniform and universal API interacting with any filesystem, as an abstraction layer providing interfaces, types and methods. Afero has an exceptionally clean interface and simple design without needless constructors or initialization methods. Afero is also a library providing a base set of interoperable backend filesystems that make it easy to work with afero while retaining all the power and benefit of the os and ioutil packages. Afero provides significant improvements over using the os package alone, most notably the ability to create mock and testing filesystems without relying on the disk. It is suitable for use in any situation where you would consider using the OS package as it provides an additional abstraction that makes it easy to use a memory backed file system during testing. It also adds support for the http filesystem for full interoperability.

s3fs allows Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD to mount an S3 bucket via FUSE. s3fs preserves the native object format for files, allowing use of other tools like AWS CLI. Large subset of POSIX including reading/writing files, directories, symlinks, mode, uid/gid, and extended attributes. Compatible with Amazon S3, and other S3-based object stores. Allows random writes and appends, large files via multi-part upload, and renames via server-side copy. User-specified regions, including Amazon GovCloud. Many systems provide pre-built packages. s3fs supports the standard AWS credentials file stored in the credentials folder. Alternatively, s3fs supports a custom passwd file. The default location for the s3fs password file can be created. Generally S3 cannot offer the same performance or semantics as a local file system.

romfs is a read-only, space-efficient linux filesystem, and this is a place for test kernel patches, and user space tools to manage filesystems in this format.

FuseISO is a FUSE module to mount ISO filesystem images (.iso, .nrg, .bin, .mdf and .img files). It currently support plain ISO9660 Level 1 and 2, Rock Ridge, Joliet, and zisofs.

UNFS3 is a user-space implementation of the NFSv3 server specification. It provides a unified mountd and nfsd program and so far runs under Linux, NetBSD, and Solaris.

A small application for listing the contents(files/folders/extensions) of a folder. The results includes file name length/full path length/maximum extensions. It supports exporting a report in .txt/.csv format with fully customizable contents.

LUFS is a hybrid userspace filesystem framework supporting many "exotic" filesystems (localfs, sshfs, ftpfs, gnutellafs, locasefs, gvfs, cardfs, cefs, etc. ).

TreeSize for Unix shows the space used by each folder on your disk(s), sorted by size. It can be useful to assist in obtaining more free space. Basically a graphical version of du, with a much better interface than xdu, more practical than Filelight.

DirSize is a directory reporting tool. It recursively scans the provided (or current) directory, and reports the number of files and director sizes of each subdirectory present. It also defaults to sorting by by directory size, but there are other options. One of the interesting things about DirSize is it shows a visual representation of the file sizes of counts. I call this a SizeMap or FilesMap and it's the area to the right of the output. If you sort by size (default or -ss) or directories (-sd) is will show the SizeMap. If sorted by file counts (-sf) the map will change to show a visual representation of the number of files per subdirectory, sorted from high to low. This is a single executable JAR file. While you will need Java installed, there is no need to install this program.
