ExifCleaner is a cross-platform desktop app for cleaning metadata from images, videos, PDFs and other files. With ExifCleaner you can keep file sizes to a minimum and keep potential attackers from being able to use your GPS and device metadata.

SortPhotos is a Python-based command-line utility that organizes photos and videos into structured directories based on their date and time metadata. It can sort files by year, month, day, or any custom format using EXIF and other metadata tags, making it easy to transform messy collections into neatly arranged photo libraries. File Read Test is a tool that reads disk files or directories and stops on the first read error. A second tool, Quick Disk Test, fills a disk with test data and verifies that it can be read back without errors.

brn is a Perl-based command-line tool designed to ease the task of bulk renaming a large number of files. Started as a fork of the standard perl 'rename' tool, this project has since mutated significantly and is still undergoing rapid flux.
