JMCAD is an program for the modeling and simulation of complex dynamic systems. This includes the ability to construct and simulate block diagrams. The visual block diagram interface offers a simple method for constructing, modifying and maintaining complex system models. The simulation engine provides fast and accurate solutions for linear, nonlinear, continuous time, discrete time, time varying and hybrid system designs. With JMCAD, users can quickly develop software or "virtual" prototypes of systems or processes to demonstrate their behavior prior to building physical prototypes. The user builds his system model by selecting predefined blocks from a block library and simply wiring the blocks together. Each block of the diagram performs a function. Users can also create custom blocks in Java and add them to the JMCAD block library. JMCAD is a block diagram language for creating complex nonlinear dynamic systems.

QuestionDB is a program for storing exam questions in a database. Five different question types are supported: open questions, open questions with parts, fill in questions, multiple choice questions and true/false questions. You can export exams in OpenDocument Text format. The user interface and manual are in Dutch.

The Vocabulary Learning Assistant helps the user to learn vocabulary, such as language translations or technical definitions. It uses a user-created text file (or multiple files) that contain the content to be learned, and then opens a pop up window at a user-defined interval (scheduled by Cron on Linux) to test the user. This window contains the word to be defined or translated on the left, and a text field for the user to enter their answer on the right. The program is more likely to choose word pairs that the user has got wrong more often in the past. There is also an option to reset the progress tracking when the user feels they no longer need to keep testing on a particular pair. It was originally developed for learning French, but can be used for any language or technical definitions. Within the program, the user can choose which of their text files they would like to learn from, or by default leave it as it currently is.

XDL gives instructors and students tools to conduct online distance learning -- calendars, course material, exams, and more. Based on open Java standards, XDL could be modified for user groups, project management, or other collaborative online projects.
