Luminance HDR is a complete suite for HDR imaging workflow. It provides a wide range of functionalities, during both the fusion stage and the tonemapping stage. Its graphical user interface, based on Qt5, runs on a variety of platforms, such as Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X 10.9 and later and several Unix flavors (Linux, FreeBSD and others). Input images can be supplied in multiple formats, from JPEG to RAW files. In the same way, output can be saved in many different formats as well, from JPEG to TIFF (both 8 bit and 16 bit per channel), enabling all the power of your post processing tools.

The DSM manages the interactions between TWAIN applications and TWAIN Data Sources for the acquisition of images from scanners and cameras. This DSM is open source software and uses LGPL licenses.

NEW: Version 1.10.0 is out - Apple Silicon is now natively supported. dcpTool is a tool for editing DNG camera profiles (DCP files). dcpTool can convert DCP files to and from binary form to an editable XML form, and can also directly do a number of useful transformations to DCP files such as "untwisting" them.

NOTE: We are moving this project to GitHub! Digital photographs are not ideal. Of course, the better is your camera, the better the results will be, but in any case if you look carefully at shots taken even by the most expensive cameras equipped with the most expensive lenses you will see various artifacts. It is very hard to make ideal cameras, because there are a lot of factors that affect the final image quality, and at some point camera and lens designers have to trade one factor for another to achieve the optimal image quality, within the given design restrictions and budget. But we all want ideal shots, don't we? :) So that's what's lensfun is all about - rectifying the defects introduced by your photographic equipment.

An application for capturing images to generate timelapse videos, built on gPhoto2 and wxWidgets libraries.

This is an open source program for controlling digital cameras, especially those that support PTP. The initial focus is on native Mac support, but long term thinking is to support Linux/gphoto2 as well.

Fwink is a webcam application for Windows. It takes still images from your camera and uploads them to an FTP server. You have the option to add effects to your images.

YASW (Yet Another Scan Wizard) is an application used to correct images taken with a camera. It can be used to post process the scanning of a book (see http://http://www.diybookscanner.org/ ) or to correct an individual image taken with our camera (A poster in the street). Java access to USB, currently using kernel 2.4 Linux-USB support. There is a "core" API for accessing USB devices, and simple tools including a USB viewer in Swing. Applications are being developed separately, including digital camera support.

OpenExif is an object-oriented library for accessing Exif formated JPEG image files. The toolkit allows creating, reading, and modifying the metadata in the Exif file. It also provides means of getting and setting the main image and the thumbnail image.

This is a very simple but easy-to-use camera app for Android devices, that allows to create 3D stereo (anaglyph) pictures by simply taking two pictures at shifted positions. If anaglyph glasses are available, you can try out the best viewpoint for the second shot dynamically.

Photoropter is a lens correction library and calibration application. Comparable in purpose to existing projects like PTLens and LensFun, this is a new effort, using modern C++ libraries like Boost and STL and employing clean, object-oriented design.
