mozc-devices is an open source collection of circuit diagrams, firmware, and technical documentation for a series of experimental and often humorous Gboard and Google Japanese Input hardware keyboards, many of which were originally released as April Fools’ projects by Google Japan. Each subproject in the repository corresponds to a unique input device prototype, including versions such as the Drum Set, Morse Code, Patapata, Magic Hand, Piropiro, Physical Flick, Puchi Puchi, Nazoru, Mageru, Yunomi, Bar, Caps, Double Sided, and Dial editions. These devices creatively reinterpret how users can interact with Japanese text input, blending humor, engineering, and physical computing. The repository serves as an archive of the schematics, firmware, and PCB designs for these inventive input mechanisms, with many projects including promotional videos and technical references.

Implicit in the definition of a state machine is a network of dependencies between the states. The Automalator * deconstructs the C code into the core state machine * collates the transactions into the dependency net * generates a diagram-format file with the states and dependencies as the nodes and edges. This Windows app generates fingerings for brass wind instruments. It invokes gnuplot to make a diagram showing the harmonic and error for the selected fingering, as well as for alternate fingerings. The program finds all fingerings within an acceptable error range, then chooses the one with the lowest harmonic (shortest tubing length). If no fingering falls in the acceptable error range, the closest match is chosen.

The Doodle project aims to provide a language to easily describe Origami diagrams and produces a ready-to-print document. Doodle will free creators from diagramming constraints and increase their capability to share their creations.
