BibDesk is a graphical bibTeX bibliography manager for Mac OS X.

QPDF is a C++ library and set of programs that inspect and manipulate the structure of PDF files. It can encrypt and linearize files, expose the internals of a PDF file, and do many other operations useful to end users and PDF developers.

pdfcrack is a command line, password recovery tool for PDF-files.

xrdp provides a graphical login to remote machines using RDP (Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol). xrdp accepts connections from a variety of RDP clients: FreeRDP, rdesktop, NeutrinoRDP and Microsoft Remote Desktop Client (for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android). As Windows-to-Windows Remote Desktop can, xrdp supports not only graphics remoting but also two-way clipboard transfer (text, bitmap, file), audio redirection, drive redirection (mount local client drives on a remote machine). Connect to a Linux desktop using RDP from anywhere (requires xorgxrdp Xorg module). Reconnect to an existing session. Session resizing (both on-connect and on-the-fly). RDP/VNC proxy (connect to another RDP/VNC server via xrdp). xrdp primarily targets GNU/Linux operating system. x86 (including x86-64) and ARM processors are most mature architecture to run xrdp on. Most Linux distributions should distribute the latest release of xrdp in their repository.

Sumatra PDF is a free PDF, eBook (ePub, Mobi), XPS, DjVu, CHM, Comic Book (CBZ and CBR) viewer for Windows. Sumatra PDF is powerful, small, portable and starts up very fast. Simplicity of the user interface has a high priority. Portable version is a single executable, can be run from USB drive and doesn't write to registry. For best results use the latest release available as that's what I use and test with. If things don't compile, first make sure you're using the latest version of Visual Studio. To compile you need Visual Studio 2019 16.6 or later. Free Community edition works.

jq is like sed for JSON data - you can use it to slice, filter, map and transform structured data with the same ease that sed, awk, grep and friends let you play with text. jq is written in portable C, and it has zero runtime dependencies. You can download a single binary, scp it to a far away machine of the same type, and expect it to work. jq can mangle the data format that you have into the one that you want with very little effort, and the program to do so is often shorter and simpler than you'd expect. Data in jq is represented as streams of JSON values - every jq expression runs for each value in its input stream, and can produce any number of values to its output stream. jq filters run on a stream of JSON data. The input to jq is parsed as a sequence of whitespace-separated JSON values which are passed through the provided filter one at a time. The output(s) of the filter are written to standard out, again as a sequence of whitespace-separated JSON data.

The USB/IP Project aims to develop a general USB device sharing system over IP network. To share USB devices between computers with their full functionality, USB/IP encapsulates USB I/O requests into IP packets and transmits them between computers.

s2n-tls is a C99 implementation of the TLS/SSL protocols that is designed to be simple, small, fast, and with security as a priority. It is released and licensed under the Apache License 2.0. If you are building on OSX, you can use build tools like Ninja. The s2n-tls I/O APIs are designed to be intuitive to developers familiar with the widely-used POSIX I/O APIs, and s2n-tls supports blocking, non-blocking, and full-duplex I/O. Additionally there are no locks or mutexes within s2n-tls. s2n-tls implements SSLv3, TLS1.0, TLS1.1, TLS1.2, and TLS1.3. For encryption, s2n-tls supports 128-bit and 256-bit AES in the CBC and GCM modes, ChaCha20, 3DES, and RC4. For forward secrecy, s2n-tls supports both DHE and ECDHE. s2n-tls also supports the Server Name Indicator (SNI), Application-Layer Protocol Negotiation (ALPN), and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) TLS extensions. SSLv3, RC4, 3DES, and DHE are each disabled by default for security reasons.

HT is a file editor/viewer/analyzer for executables. The goal is to combine the low-level functionality of a debugger and the usability of IDEs. We plan to implement all (hex-)editing features and support of the most important file formats.

libcsv is a small, simple and fast CSV library written in pure ANSI C89 that can read and write CSV data. It provides a straight-forward interface using callback functions to handle parsed fields and rows and can parse improperly formatted CSV files.

A simple editor for dbf files. The editor is built with GTK+, making it available on a number of platforms, including Linux and Windows.
