IVuPy is a set of Python bindings for the Coin3D C++ class libraries which serve to create software for 3D visualization in science and engineering. IVuPy aims to be a solid basis for large Python programs for 3D visualization and data analysis.

KeplerDB is a temporal database to store time/value entries where the type of value could be integer, float/double, boolean and string. KeplerDB is dedicated to be scalable and to create clusters of server allowing the user to analyse and store massing amount of data to monitor systems like computers, clusters, building and captors or financial systems like markets and accounts. Track, in realtime, horizontal and vertical displacement of object in webcam. Log timestamp, x and y to comma-separated value (.csv) file importable to spreadsheet. Uses Lukas-Kanade algorithm and based on lkdemo.cpp in OpenCV, stripped down to track single point in high contrast against a uniform background. Based on the BSD licensed OpenCV, TrackXY also has BSD-style license. I am a bit embarrassed to be posting this here, because it's such a rudimentary program, but I couldn't find any other ready-made program that would track an object in real-time from webcam, other than an $80 special-purpose program used in the original (torsion balance) experiment we were replicating. I released TrackXY to reduce barriers to entry to science. Planned features include versions for each platform, a GUI, comprehensive data management, and data analysis tools. To analyze motion in /recorded/ video (not real-time), you may prefer something like PhysMo, also a SourceForge project.

Uranie is a sensitivity and uncertainty analysis plateform based on the ROOT framework (http://root.cern.ch) . It is developed at CEA, the French Atomic Energy Commission (http://www.cea.fr). It provides various tools for: - data analysis - sampling - statistical modeling - optimisation - sensitivity analysis - uncertainty analysis - running code on high performance computers - etc. Thanks to ROOT, it is easily scriptable in CINT (c++ like syntax) and Python. Is is available both for Unix and Windows platforms (a dedicated platform archive is available on request). Note : if you have downloaded version 3.12 before the 8th of february, a patch exists for a minor bug on TOutputFileKey file, don't hesitate to ask us.

ckon is a C++ program/tool which automatically takes care of compilation, dictionary generation and linking of programs and libraries developed for data analyses within the CERN ROOT analysis framework. This includes parsing include headers to figure out which libraries the main programs need to be linked to. It uses automake/autoconf to be platform independent and GNU install compliant. In addition, m4 macros are automatically downloaded and the according compiler flags included based on a list of boost libraries provided in the config file.
