"Pyrates" is a suite of pirate-themed TUI computer games designed as a classroom aid for teaching software localization with gettext. "Pyrates" showcases a number of common translation problems encountered during software localization. The game requires Python 3 IDE (at least version 3.8) on your device. PyMancala implements rules of the Mancala game, also called Awale. It can be played in different modes: human-human, human-computer or computer-computer. Different variants of the rules are implemented. Several 'basic' strategies are proposed for the human to get an advice and for the computer. Many others can be added and compared to the already existing ones.

El resultado es una aventura conversacional en texto, que puede jugarse directamente desde el navegador. Hay una versión en node, que se usó para el desarrollo, pero el objetivo es generar un archivo único en html. Por este motivo se recomienda jugar directamente desde el navegador, ya que la versión mas reciente será siempre para navegador. . Text adventure or "interactive fiction" is software simulating environments in which players use text commands to control characters and influence the environment. They were among the first computer games. MAP includes tools to create the adventure and a runner that allows to play it. Source is available and open so both the runner and tools can be modified to fit the needs or style for each adventure/creator.
