Open Source Windows Mobile Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) Software

toMOTko is a small flashcard application for learning foreign language vocabulary. It's specifically designed for people learning one or more foreign languages. Its unicode support is convenient for japanese, korean or chinese characters, etc. It's available for multiple platforms: Windows, MacOS, Linux, Zaurus, and some Nokia phones. The interface is available in French, English, Spanish, and partially in German and Japanese.

This project was designed for a reserach conducted in the area of mobile science inqiury using ontologies. This mobile web application 'ThinknLearn' uses ontology-based scaffolding to implement NCEA level 1science standard curriculum example as an experimental context. In this application, ontologies are designed using Protege 4.0 while Jena API and Pellet reasoner are used in the technical architecture of this application for extracting relevant information according to the requirements.

There are many dictionaries so making another one can look words up would be extremely useless. But what if a dictionary could even teach those words put into it? What do you think?
