eduActiv8 is a free Open Source multi-platform educational application that aims to assist in learning various early education topics - from learning the alphabet and new words, colours, time to a wide range of maths-related subjects. eduActiv8 is a continuation of the development of the pySioGame project just under a new name. It is being developed on GitHub at: https://github.com/imiolek-ireneusz/eduActiv8 but 'compiled' releases are published here. The latest version has been partially redesigned to improve usability, but certain activities will still be in the somewhat "prototype quality" - this will be gradually redesigned as time allows. Currently, it is available for Windows, MacOS, Linux and Android (you may need to allow unknown sources to install it on Android). AraBoard es un conjunto de herramientas diseñadas para la comunicacion alternativa y aumentativa, cuya finalidad es facilitar la comunicacion funcional, mediante el uso de imagenes y pictogramas, a personas que presentan algun tipo de dificultad en este ambito. Dada la versatilidad de estas herramientas, AraBoard tambien puede ser utilizado para crear tableros con rutinas sencillas y tableros para anticipar la realizacion de cualquier tarea prevista. AraBoard puede ser utilizado en distintos dispositivos (ordenador, smartphone o tablet). Para su ejecucion se requiere el player Adobe Air (gratuito) instalado en el dispositivo. Math Ninja is a fun way to help students with math. Right now it focuses on multiplication, but it can be configured to add other operations as well. Developed with Unity version 5, it can be used in various platforms.

BowTIE (Brass Technique Instruction Environment) is an application designed to help trumpet, horn, euphonium, and tuba players learn fingering technique. BowTIE provides excellent support for trumpet and horn players who are learning to transpose.

Dysgu presents an innovative approach to out-of-class activities by combining multiple dimensions of best practices from different spectrum of student learning into a coherent idea and delivering such activities with personalization and adaptation. The goal of the Dysgu system is to study the impact of frequent out-of-class activities on student learning and engagement where the activities are interactive in nature, smaller with scaffolding support, personalized and delivered via a mobile platform.

LEGADEE (LEarning GAme DEsign Environment) is a free authoring environment that helps game designers and teachers design Learning Games that are fun and educational. This open source environment was designed and developed in 2012, during Iza Marfisi-Schottman's doctorate at the LIRIS lab in France, directed by Franck Tarpin-Bernard and Sébastien George.

A mobile phone application (for both Android and J2ME) which can download, store, and run offline quizzes from the project's own wiki. Microemulator+LWUIT enables a single code base to support both J2ME and Android.

This project was designed for a reserach conducted in the area of mobile science inqiury using ontologies. This mobile web application 'ThinknLearn' uses ontology-based scaffolding to implement NCEA level 1science standard curriculum example as an experimental context. In this application, ontologies are designed using Protege 4.0 while Jena API and Pellet reasoner are used in the technical architecture of this application for extracting relevant information according to the requirements.

Using the A-Frame WebVR framework, this web based application allows users to create VR and AR webpages for whatever they want - teaching resources, visualization, sharing your 3d models in a very cool way, and much much more! The VR pages can be used with google cardboard, but also can be viewed in the browser and used with the steam vive and oculus rift (untested).
