An alternative Discord client with voice support made with C++ and GTK
Alternative Discord client made in C++ with GTK. Abaddon tries its best (though is not perfect) to make Discord think it's a legitimate web client. Some of the things done to do this include: using a browser user agent, sending the same IDENTIFY message that the official web client does, using API v9 endpoints in all cases, and not using endpoints the web client does not normally use. There are still a few smaller inconsistencies, however. For example the web client sends lots of telemetry via the /science endpoint (uBlock origin stops this) as well as in the headers of all requests. Discord likes disabling accounts/forcing them to reset their passwords if they think the user is a spam bot or potentially had their account compromised. While the official client still often gets users caught in the spam filter, third party clients tend to upset the spam filter more often. If you get caught by it, you can usually appeal it and get it restored. -

PeerTube, developed by Framasoft, is the free and decentralized alternative to video platforms, providing you over 400,000 videos published by 60,000 users and viewed over 15 million times. phpseclib is designed to be ultra-portable. The 3.0 version works on PHP 5.6+ and doesn't require any extensions. For purposes of speed, OpenSSL, GMP, libsodium or mcrypt are used, if they're available, but they are not required. phpseclib is designed to be fully interoperable with standardized cryptography libraries and protocols. MIT-licensed pure-PHP implementations of SSH-2, SFTP, X.509, an arbitrary-precision integer arithmetic library, Ed25519 / Ed449 / Curve25519 / Curve449, ECDSA / ECDH (with support for 66 curves), RSA (PKCS#1 v2.2 compliant), DSA / DH, DES / 3DES / RC4 / Rijndael / AES / Blowfish / Twofish / Salsa20 / ChaCha20, GCM / Poly1305. The only requirement that phpseclib 3.0 has is that you must be using PHP 5.6+. Using phpseclib2_compat will actually bring a few enhancements to your dependency. -

Ever wanted to cut out background noise when talking with others on Skype? Now it's possible! NoiseGator is a light-weight noise gate application that routes audio through an audio input to an audio output. In real-time the audio level is analysed and if the average level is higher than the threshold the audio bypasses as normal. However, if the average level goes below the threshold, the gate closes and the audio is cut. When used with a virtual audio cable it can act as a noise gate for a either a sound input(microphone) or sound output(speakers). Can also be used to gate noise from your own mic or play your microphone through your speakers. REQUIREMENTS: - Java 7 or higher for Windows. - Java 6 or higher for Mac. Java 7 recommended. - A virtual audio cable is required for use with VOIPs: For Windows users I recommend the VB-Cable driver (http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/index.htm). Mac users can use SoundFlower. -

An open source developer tool for building chat bots, apps and custom integrations for major messaging platforms. Part of the Microsoft Bot Framework. We love bots, and want to make them easy and fun to build! Include Botkit into your Node application and boot up a controller that will define your bot's behaviors. In this case, we're setting up a bot to use with the Bot Framework Emulator. Tell the bot to listen for users saying "hello," and use `bot.reply` to send an immediate response. Start a conversation, then queue up multiple messages to send, including a prompt sent using `convo.ask()` which allows your bot to capture user input and use it. Botkit is just one part of a bigger set of developer tools and SDKs that encompass the Microsoft Bot Framework. The Bot Framework SDK provides the base upon which Botkit is built. It is available in multiple programming languages! -

libtorrent is a feature-complete C++ BitTorrent implementation focusing on efficiency and scalability. It runs on embedded devices as well as desktops. It boasts a well-documented library interface that is easy to use. It comes with a simple BitTorrent client demonstrating the use of the library. The interface of libtorrent consists of a few classes. The main class is the session, it contains the main loop that serves all torrents. Each class and function is described in this manual, you may want to have a look at the tutorial as well. If a torrent hits a disk write error, it will be put into upload mode. This means it will not download anything, but only upload. The assumption is that the write error is caused by a full disk or write permission errors. If the torrent is auto-managed, it will periodically be taken out of the upload mode, trying to write things to the disk again. -

Acrylic is a local DNS proxy for Windows which improves the performance of your computer by caching the responses coming from your DNS servers and helps you fight unwanted ads through the use of a custom HOSTS file (optimized for handling hundreds of thousands of domain names) with support for wildcards and regular expressions. When you browse a web page a portion of the loading time is dedicated to name resolution while the rest is dedicated to the transfer of the web page contents. What Acrylic does is to reduce the time dedicated to name resolution for frequently visited addresses closest to zero possible. Furthermore Acrylic's sliding expiration caching mechanism and DNS silent updates are able to improve the browsing experience independently of the browser. With Acrylic you can also gracefully overcome downtimes of your DNS servers without disrupting your work, because in that case you will at least be able to connect to your favourite websites and to your email server. -
