Open Source Perl CGI Scripts for Windows

A perl-based web application and web site framework designed to let the people who create the content manage it, and let the technical folks get back to tech stuff.

C-Cramp is a tool for a mysql database with data about music, DJs, shows, etc. for non-profit (college/university) radio stations that play music from hard media (CDs/vinyl). The primary focus is tracking & music and generating logs using a php frontend.

The Floranta libraries provide components for building Rich Client Wikis using AJAX or Java. Floranta clients can be embedded in any webpage (even plain html) and allow users to leave notes, images, cards, etc on the pages. Eg: http://www.floranta.com

GridSheet is a command line-based printable graphing paper generator, allowing user to generate quadrille paper with custom page size, background color, margin, grid spacing, line thickness, and line color; with two different line styles supported on the same grid. Output format is PDF 1.3. Other than command-line program, it also come with a CGI front end that can be installed as a web application, allowing intranet users to generate graphing paper from their web browser. GridSheet is written in Perl with no dependency on third-party modules, thus works on any platform with Perl 5.6+ interpreter available, including GNU/Linux, UNIX, Microsoft Windows, and DOS.

KI::Chart is a Perl module for generating SVG based charts. It currently supports horizontal-, vertical-bar, line and pie charts.

This small, sharp tool generates SVG charts and graphs for use in other processes. This could easily be used to generate dynamic charts for web sites, statistical displays or other data visualization in a fully-scalable way.

Status Board is a web based (Apache, mod_perl, HTML::Mason, MySQL) system to store answers to questions and produce reports. It will support data export, compartmentialization of user access and constraints to user input for better data analysis.

This program is a perl CGI script that accesses Address and Datebook PDB files (via Palm::PDB). It is intended for a home or office LAN. It basically publishes the information stored in the PDB files so that anyone on the LAN (e.g. my wife) can view it.

chklinks is a non-threaded Perl link checker. It helps finding broken links on your website. It does not raises many simultaneously connections for its job, run out of the resources and crash your system in a moment.

closedShop is an open source, free shopping cart. Based on Perl and MySQL, its aim is to provide all the features a commercial shopping cart offers at no cost. It is easy to setup, use and manage.

I developed this for PBS as a quick way to display local station events. This app uses the iCal standard, but in an XML format (xCal) with a MySQL and perl backend. You can import xCal events from an .xsc file to MySQL. Uses XML/XSL/XSLT.
