This is the Link branch FreeCAD, with lots of new features and enhancements. This branch is originally created to develop the App::Link feature for use with my Assembly3 workbench. The feature has since been merged with official FreeCAD, but the branch stayed and became the forefront of what future FreeCAD might become. Its function now is to continuously improve and test the Topological naming problem and its fix. Which I eventually plan to merge back into the FreeCAD main branch. -

PotterDraw is a free 3D software application for designing and visualizing pottery. It’s useful for creating cylindrical shapes such as pots, flasks, vases, bowls, plates, cups, glasses, goblets, or anything similar. The outer wall of the pot is drawn using a spline, which consists of one or more curved or linear segments. The inner wall is generated automatically. PotterDraw can export files suitable for 3D printing. It can also map synthesized or user-specified textures onto the pot. Mesh and texture properties can be modulated by oscillators for more complex effects, and the modulations can be animated to create videos. -

A Windows only 2.5D CAD CAM application. The user experience tightly integrates the CAM aspects when doing design and layout. The target users will layout their design and then immediately generate CNC code. The goal is a design application closer to Adobe Illustrator than to AutoCAD. The user specifies machining aspects during object creation so that when the design/layout phase is completed the toolpath generation can occur automatically. What is 2.5D? Objects created are flat (2D) but have a depth component. So you can create a square that will be machined at a specific depth but the depth will be constant accross the square. Lima VVA is a lightweight Windows application for road design and earthwork calculation. It is suitable for small to medium projects, where ease-of-use, low cost and quick results are paramount. It lets the user design the road interactively, while the geometry and earthwork quantities are automatically calculated in the background. Advanced Simulation Library (ASL) is a free and open source multiphysics simulation software package.
