A tool to collect number of instances of a certain word or expression that appear in specific online news providers. The tool allows to define website servers, and a time window. It will then divide the time window in smaller steps, and download the search results for each sub-time frame. The chart shows the number of hits by sub-time period. The interface let the user pick a time window, and the division of that window. The graphic can be customized to have line, area, point, or bar charts. I developed this tool for a friend that is a faculty in Economy at the University of Washington and Simon Fraser. This version 2 offers some more customization of the interface and the download parameters to make it more stable with some website.
