Open Source C# Board Games for Windows

This is an opensource software at University of Szeged. This program can solve a chess problem. First we can put chess pieces on the chessboard, to set a composition. After that, the software will solve the problem.

Chess Timer is a chess clock program, used to time and set limits (with increment) on conventional chess games. See features for details. Download the new, rough around the edges, v4, or stick with the reliable, but ugly (refer to screenshots), v3.3.

Small simulator for checking typical dice probabilites for boardgaming/wargaming (during Vassal pbem games for example). Pre-configured tabs for the boardgame "Here I Stand" from GMT Games, but easily useable for other boardgames as well. The newest version also includes prediction of CRT combat (Paths of Glory, Illusions of Glory, Pursuit of Glory CRTs included). You can add your own single-dice CRTs for any game. Most features use a Monte Carlo simulation, but a few are calculated (like CRTs). If you want to predict dice results in an easy to use manner, check it out! This little tool might be helpful for chess players. The FIDE Rating Regulations (effective from 1 March 2024) are strictly implemented, therefore its calculation is hundred percent accurate. There is a Windows only version (Windows 7 or higher, .NetFramework 4.7.2 or higher (you don't need to worry about this with a current Windows 10 or 11)) ... and a Java version (Java 17 or higher).

OSSUDO is an open source game of Sudoku for Windows (.Net, C#) It comes with various algorithms to solve any sudoku, it gives hints to player, it generates new sudoku games and evaluates their difficulty, saves, prints and has a nice scalable interface.

Tryx is a simple board game, and is an evolution of the classic Tic-Tac-Toe game. The difference is that each player can have at most 3 symbols on the board: when a player puts its fourth symbol on the board, the oldest symbol disappears.
